Received a call from this person, telling me that I have won a chance to win a prize valued at $25,000.00.  They claimed to be a home furnishing company of some sorts located on Exeter Road in South London, Ontario.  Caller told me that they needed to verify my mailing address information.  This was apparently a lie as they actually wanted me to provide them with additional address information.  When I told them that Canada Post does not require this additional information they insisted that the post office did and claimed that the mail would be refused by Canada Post if they did not have it.  When I would not provide it, they hung up on me.

Reality is that the caller outright lied to me.  (1) They were not verifying information, they were looking to collect additional information.  (2) Claimed Canada Post requires additional information and they do not.

Answered the phone at my parents house tonight, just after 7:30 pm, and a female asked for my mother, (she asked for mrs. blank, didn't use her first name). When I said she wasn't home and asked who was speaking, she gave me her name, but wouldn't identify where she was calling from and said there was no message, she would call back. When I tried to call the number back it just rings over and over again no answer, this happened 3 times,every time I called after that, i just keep getting a busy signal.  I hate telemarketers, they're so shady.
