got a call from 519-772-1785 Does anyone know here who it is?

The call I got from this number at approx. 10AM had so much background noise like lots of other people talking that I had to ask a man's voice with an accent to repeat himself. He had asked for my husband but when I asked a second time "who is calling" and that "I will take a message" he just hung up. After the call when I try to reach that number it is constantly busy. We have had quite a few calls in this new year where no one answers and yesterday this bogus caller was 1-647-288-1289. When I looked this number up on the internet, from the comments of other targets, apparently someone is trying to get info from people regarding credit or mortgage situations. I would tell people to beware these "seeming telemarketers" !

I am getting calls from this number at work and it would ring like 4 different lines at once on my phone system. If I answer there is nobody there and when I tried calling back it is busy every time... :-( no idea who it is.

Calls from Hungary and Romania come through to me on this number.  There is a lot of background noise, plus the connection is often so poor that they can't hear that the call was answered or that I am speaking, therefore, dead air.

Received a call today from that number  claiming to call on behalf of Microsoft .....I could barely understand him, his accent was very strong.  When I call the number back there is only a fast busy tone.

I told him we have Apple in the house, he said sorry for calling......probably some scan.  Seriously is anyone stupid enough to fall for this crap !!!!!!!  When will telephone soliciting stop.

If you get a lot of calls, best thing to do is say sorry hold on a sec.....   then put your phone down and leave it unattended for an hour.  (Bet that gets you off their automatic dialing system)

Claimed to be from Microsoft about "my computer".  Had my hubby's first and last name.  Likely part of the same international scam that says if you'll just log onto their site for one minute they'll fix the problem you're having.  Of course, the RCMP and OPP have a warning up about this scam already.

So I just wished to his family what he was trying to do to mine and said goodbye.

I had the same call today.  They claimed to be Microsoft, and that there was a problem with my operating system.  The woman's accent was thick.  She had my name, phone number and address.  I hung up on her.

RMG Mortgages calling about mortgage renewal. Legitimate, as our mortgage is up for renewal and is also with this company.
