Have no idea on this number directed to my cell number. Has anyone got a call from the same number. Please advise

this is a scam they say they are a notification company and have a parcel for you but wont give you any information

The automated call said I won one of three prizes from taking part in a phone survey; press 1 to connect, press 3 to be removed from the list. I hung up.

The strange thing is I took part in an on-line survey just last week. Perhaps someone at that survey company is.....

I received a call from this number yesterday.  An automated message (female) informed me in a rather breathless manner that I'd won an all expenses trip to Cancun (gosh, wine and alcohol included!)  Requested me to press 1 to claim my prize.  I hung up.

No idea how they got my number.

I did press 1 to hear of the fabulous deal.  After explaining that it would only cost me $600 for two weeks in Mexico and one week in the US, she wanted my credit card number.
Strange, the area code is London but she said she was in the United States in a place called Texas.  
I let her ramble on for about 15 minutes.  It was good for her.  She got her whole spiel out and tried to close fifteen or twenty times.
I have since blocked the number.

What Is The Point On Having Your Phone Number Registered With DNCL!! And Get Calls Almost Alot From Iditots / Telemarketers. My phone lie can only block so many darn numbers and they call back with a different ext# to call me again! All this telemarketing calls are getting way out of hand!!!!!

Picked up the phone ... no answer.  Call reported to Canada Do Not Call complaint....

I am about to report them to CRTC. They called and didn't leave a message. I called back and a machine answered informing me that they recognized my number as a regular customer and that I had won a trip to Cancun. Also claimed that my number had been entered in an online contest - not true (unless I have some enemies out there) and I think they are just trying to make it seem like they aren't breaking the DNCL rules.
I think putting my number on the DNCL was a mistake and actually has caused more calls.

This Friday, Jan 11 - CBC Marketplace - topic is "To Catch a Telemarketer". I will be watching.

I didn't take part in any survey in a long time and I still got this call. I got the same message as you and hung up also. It's a scam for sure! New Brunswick

Just got this call said a friend or family enter me in a contest for free money for a resort

They called me as well to inform me of a trip to Cancun....total scam. I asked the lady where she was calling me from, and how she got my number ,but she would not tell me and she hung up on me!! RUDE!

they called here @ almost 9 pm!  I hung up.  I'm also registered with DNC and will be watching Marketplace this week.  Will definitely be blocking their # if they call again.

I find a utility "Call Valet" will block up to 200 numbers, including all numbers
from any area code - like all calls from 877.  A bit pricey, but worth it to me.

Though it comes in as 'Unknown Caller' it still rings in my home! I am aggrivated not only because it's telemarketing but because even though I PAY my phone company NOT to allow Unknown callers to ring in my home but to go to voice mail THESE scummy companies have found a way around that. On that point alone I'd never purchase their SCAMS.

Its' a sad and underhanded world today.

Third time in 4days this number has called.No message,all hours of the day..Knock it off and get a real job.

This number called here a few seconds ago. There was no one talking, only a constant tone, as if someone was pressing down a number on the keypad. Very bizzare. Will be interesting to see if and when they call back.

Just called figured I'd listen because I had just withen last 6 hrs applied for a free trip giveaway online that was ending within the nxt few hrs. I press 1 some chick asked my age and if I had credit card...I Hung up and thankful I did.
