I keep getting calls from this number and they never leave a message.  The name says LWATERLO.  Does anyone get calls from this number?

I've been getting the same calls from UWaterloo for the past month now.

I just got home (9:20 p.m.) and low and behold there was a call from this number and they, of course, did not leave a message.

I just got a call from this number and when I answered a "lady" identified herself as Megan and claimed she was from the University of Waterloo Research Center. I then graciously hung up on her.

Got 2 calls today (Sunday) and a few during the week.  I didn't pick up .They didn't leave a message

I found this number, with UWaterloo displayed, but no message.  I have seen it a few times on my display.  What do they want?

I've been getting calls from this number everyday for the last month or so. I thought that University would obligate to some culture.

It's the University of Waterloo Survey Research Center. They conduct studies for researchers at the University

Get these call 3 times a day. Have emailed the president of the university to let him know how disgusting the phone calls are maybe we all should do the same

The University has been contracted by the Centre for Addiction Research and Mental Health www.camh.cato survey for the number of smokers in the household.  I was told the numbers are called at random, and they will call as many as 10 times before they give up.  You must tell them specifically to not call you.  Contact I was given at CAMH is Vlad Kushnir 416-535-8501 x6258

got one call just now.The name says LWATERLO.

Thanks to "perlgerl" I called Vlad 416-535-8501 Ext 6258.  Only problem was that entering the extension put me in a loop so I pressed 0 0 0 0 0  to get to reception and requested to speak to Vlad at Ext 6258.  I left a message and to my surprise it was returned in less than a half hour.  I advised Vlad that this was an unsolicited call and I have not taken a survey nor do I wish to take one as I am on the DNCL, I requested my number be removed from future calls.  He complied with my request.

The University of Waterloo Survey Research Centre (SRC) conducts survey-based research on behalf of academic and government bodies. SRC uses random digit dialing that selects telephone numbers by chance for a number of different projects, and formerly one on behalf of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). If someone wishes to no longer receive calls from the University of Waterloo, they should call SRC directly at 1-866-303-2822 to have their number taken off the call list.

I get at least 1 call per day and have been for the last 6 weeks. I shouldn't have to call anyone to get my name off their calling list. I never answer so they should get the message and quit calling. VERY ANNOYING!

Got a call from them the person on the line sound like a robot. Something about wanting me to join them in a orgy experiment. I said sign me up! they said sorry females only.

Just got a call, they left no message. After reading previous comments.. i am a donar to camh so maybe our numbers are being sold

It's a service seemingly out of U Waterloo that organizations use to call/market for them. I know a reputable non-profit organization that uses them to send out bulletins about what's going on with the organization. Their intentions are not nefarious, but I do find this method of communication pretty obnoxious, personally.
