It called I answered and then on the other end was the sound of a phone ringing. I hung up. I have no idea what it was for but it was annoying.

Annoying as hell as this is a local number I called them back and told them to shove their lawn where the sun don`t shine!

The call display said "Out of Area".  Exactly one week ago at about the same time I received a telephone call from 519-963-1301.  I believe that was a specific employee purposely harassing me.  Tonight when they called from 519-963-2079 they hung up.  I believe both of these telephone numbers are connected to this one person.  I believe both calls originated from Windsor, Ontario, (including LaSalle).

This is a third party call centre, they do lawns and health and safety, just ask to be removed from all dialing lists and they have to stop calling.

Called me despite my being on the National Do Not Call List at www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca.  I have lodged a complaint against Great Lakes Lawn Services, and recommend that you do the same if you are on the National Do Not Call List.

I just purchased a panasonic phone, and one of the features is "call block".  It works great, because this number calls me every other day, now it rings once and ends.  I am a happy person

Calls me just about every day @ different times .. I don't answer .. I'm on the DO NOT CALL LIST so why I am I still getting these calls????????????

I read that the DO NOT CALL LIST was mistakenly given out to a telemarketer a while back (everything I read on the internet is true... right?). So as the story goes everyone on that list is now fodder for the calls. Bravo people, bravo.
My thoughts... dont waste your time on the DNC list, random diallers are still allowed and they only have to respect your rights 31 days after you ask to not be called again. So tell them not to call and you're now subjected to 31 days of multiple calls a day. So if you don't know the number, don't answer. If it was your mom calling from a pay phone cuz her car broke down just hope she has another quarter to call CAA.

I finally got sick of this number calling me so I too called them back. It is a lawn care company ironically the one my friend used to be a telemarketer for and was let go for not wanting to scam customers.

Got a call from this number 8:12PM, silence for 15secs then it hung up? Very frustrating, thought it was a crank caller.

This number is for Great Lakes Lawn Care. You call back and get an alternate number to reach someone but there's no message service to tell them to stop calling.

While I agree that they are annoying, it is not a scam as my parents currently use Great Lakes Lawn Care.  Who knows if what they spray does anything for weeds, or how useful any lawn company is, but they've done the work when they arrive and seem responsible.  That doesn't excuse telemarketing, though, and they should respect requests to be removed from their lists.

I got a call just now, likely to confirm that they were there, but it was dead air.

The best way to do business is treating customers with respect; however, this people are annoying and harassing people, which it is very bad for business.

Air duct cleaning services - very rude people who call every week with very strong Indian accents.

Call that I got today was from Active Capital, a collections place tht was looking for my son.

The DO NOT CALL LIST is completely useless...
Firstly, as a business, I may request a copy of the DNC list so I may technically exclude them from my soliciting calls.
Now the irony of this is if I go and use an offshore calling center, anywhere outside Canada in my case, that calling center does not have to acknowledge the DNC list since they are not bound by any Canadian law.
So, who's the DNC List good for?  You got it, telemarketers!

Caller said her name was Jade and she was calling from Ontario Health and Safety and wanted to talk to the person in charge of workplace safety.  This was very unusual for the Ontario Government to call like that.
