I received a call today.

I received one today as well! who is it :) I see at the top of the Google search it says ups tracking. do any of you order something you forgot about?

Got a call from this number today as well. Nobody was on the other end. A Google search says it is a Winsor, ON number. If it is UPS, could this have to do with customs? I'm expecting a package I ordered on Ebay (coming from California).

Any unidentifiable calls you receive must be regarded from cooks and scammers and treated as of no value to the caller.

I got the call 2 days in a row.  The first time it was a female voice saying something like: "This is from your dad...".  I hung up because my dad has passed away for a few years.  Then they call me again.  What is the best way to block this call?  Where to report the scam?

I bought Panasonic phones that allow you to call block phone numbers.  Once you have block a number it rings once.  I'm assuming the call is either disconnected or the caller gets a busy signal.

RECIEVED CALL AT 1226P.M. MALE CALLER OFFERING "INTERNATIONAL CALL DISCOUNT PACKAGE" ADVISED NOT INTERESTED IN SERVICE AND I DISCONTINUED THE CALL. THIS # WILL BE PLACED ON MY EVER GROWING "SCAM NUMBERS" LIST SO I DO NOT ANSWER AGAIN

Got a call this morning. When I picked up the phone after 2 rings, they had already hung up.

Lets face it folks these #s are computer generated, (I want to call all these #s from my # but the # that shows will be * (***) ***-****) telemarketers will pay big bucks for this technology.  We have been able to make phone calls through our computers for some time and some one came up with the software so one can call from one # and it shows on your phone as a different #, this way you can't call back to complain.  Well I have a phone that blocks #s and my list is way to long what I need is a phone where I can program in only the #s I allow to call , this would work great for you single women and men, you know you meet some one he/she seems nice but after a few months they turn into some one you don't wish to know anymore, well take his/her # off the allowed to call list and to make it sweeter next time  they call they get the message { the # you are trying to reach is no longer in service }.  As said on the Six Million Dollar man that show from the 70's "we have the technology" it's just a matter of who's going to pay for it

I get a call from this number sporadically over the past few months. Got another today (March 11, 2011). I never pick it up.

I don't like to receive promotion calls or prank calls from this number. Is there any one to ask these guys not to dial our number?

Yup they call me almost daily from this number..I never pick up...
I only pick up recognized calls on my phone...or from people I am expecting a call.
If they don't leave you a message...it can't be important..just ignore them!! :)
