Robocall received.

Caller ID: Online Update.

Wants to place a solar security sign in my front yard. Area code, 520, is in Benson, AZ.

Call back, with my Call ID blocked, connects to a recorded message that my (blocked) phone number will be removed from their call list.

Just called my home number.  I let the machine pick it up and they hung up.  Caller ID said "Online Update".  

Same ID from this number.  I do not answer these calls.  No message left.  If they call again will block it.

I normally don't answer these but was up for some fun today, so I did. Recording with "press #1" to talk to a person, so I did. Got the rep., explained I was on my State and the Federal DO NOT CALL list & that I was recording, the response was "press #2 to be removed from their list". Told them they were in violation in the first place, even calling, and I didn't need to push anything!!! I didn't give the rep. a chance to say a word and at some point they terminated the call. Cheap entertainment since I had a break :) Despite the caller ID of "ONLINE UPDATE", recording said it was from "GE Solar Security".

Said on Caller ID Benson AZ, no message, don't know anybody from that area code at all!

Yep, I got one that said online update. I don't answer the phone anymore so have no clue if it was robo or not. You would think these idiotic people would figure out we know who they are and are not interested in their spam. Ha ha ha oh I forgot. They don't have any brains to figure it out.

So funny.  Guy left a message saying it was Mike calling his bro Charlie about the great alarm company he got and for Charlie to call them at the phone number he said and also gave the website.  Online Update was the Caller ID.  Looks like they are getting desperate in their tactics!

had the same damned thing...says online update...I do not answer any of these horses [***] calls...NOT EVER !!!!!!!!!  They are all worthless idiots who are uneducated and way way way too lazy to go out and get a real job !!!!!!!!!

I got the same one! Mike this is Charlie. Claiming to be selling alarm systems.

Got a call from this number about 5 min. ago. Caller ID: Online Update. Hunh? I didn't answer. There was no message left.

I just received the call approx. 5 min. ago and did not answer.  Caller ID said Online Update but no message left either.  Wish I had the time to set around and play on the phone all the time!  I work at a real job.  ;-)

Callerid says online update - no message left, Internet searches seem to indicate scam/phoney fake home alarm systems. Legit company would leave a message, of course a legit company would check the Do Not Call list before calling. If the FTC can't stop these leaches from calling, why do we need it? Where I worked if you couldn't do your job you didn't last very long.

Gee, I feel left out lol. My caller ID and (call block) said "no name" yep. I have all of 520 blocked as I don't know anyone in Arizona or anyone else west of the Rockies. What a bunch of low class scum bags. Do no call list does not work but call block does. It is worth every penny. After getting 6 to 7 daily and nightly, they do get the message. Only a few vulgers and hyennas still try but get zapped like the disease that they are.

my machine picked up saying that I never answer the phone b/c of telemarketer calls/ that if its a friend or family--to leave message and I will call back otherwise, take number off list/ message left saying we will be taken off list

Yeah, I have a new routine, I answer with "US Attorneys Office Fraud Division, may I ask who is calling?"
Amazing how few follow ups I get.

520-265-8781  Called at about 7:45 pm.
Came up as 'Online Update'. The number is from AZ and as said it was GE security wanting me to be one of five houses in my neighborhood to get a free security system if I put their sign in my yard. Didn't hear half of the message because the twits spoke over my own message. Two different voices on the message press 1 for more info and second voice for press two to be removed from list. Twits don't even wait to find out if they are talking to an answering machine.

I went looking for GE Security systems online and you can by your own for under $300. Some might be more. I doubt this call really was from a General Electric branch as nothing came up with Online Update and GE together. The GE probably stands for someone's name like Gary Edwards wanting to get in your home and rob you blind.  

I had a message that said I didn't pick up for unknowns etc, but it was too wordy. Now I just have:
"Hello... (with a pause- I catch quite a bit off guard with that pause) Thank you for leaving your very important message with us."  And most often if it is a person, no message is left, because it most often isn't important! And they know it.

You might be taken off their list... but sold to 47 others.

Rang once. They are blocked. Just another scam.
