Scumbag collection agency that  buys very old debt. the debt is so old that all of the contact info is out of date. they are calling me for someone who had my number 6 years ago...Report these scumbags to the Insurance & Banking Commision in your state.

Keeps calling incessantly & no one ever on the line!!!! Can't seem to block the number, even with 'Do Not Call', so reporting this to the BBB and others!!!!

I keep getting calls from this number also. WHen I call back a guy has a recording saying his name is jeff at Swip Me Now. I have left messages not to call me back but they continue to do so. What can I do?

The call me everyday, twice or more times, asking for a "Wanda". I have been nice, rude, nasty and they keep calling. I called back and got the same msg as country gal, left voice mail and they keep calling. DONOTCALL will not work becuase they are no telemarketers. Im supermega extremly tired if these people.

This was from economic freedom corp (www.economicfreedomcorp.com)
they have many services. they are a credit resource company among other things.
they ARE persistent. Well see, i've talked to them and now that i have enough info from looking online I am not interested in their wrk at home services, and will tell them to stop ALL calls to this number or i will report them. We shall see.

I did the same thing! I will post back in a month if it seemed to work. Hopefully not sooner...

These people using several names & telephone number 877-276-3831 in Phoenix, AZ promoting all you have to do is provide names of independent businesses  and they contact them to sell them Visa & Master Card Services plus the machine to process CC's for which you receive a commission on each cc processed plus the sale of the equipment. I feel for it! Gave them my cc for $495. to get me started.
Then called them to cancel when I found out they were scammers two days later! So far no word from
them! Have reported them to BBB(F rating they have in Phoenix), Now sending info to the Attorney General of Arizona & Consumer Fraud Commission.

Wow you too I was living at home untill I got into my new home and they some how got my mother's numbers and call there 3 -4 times a day  was there one time they did call and talked to a person there And told them no thanks And they called back less then 30 min later trying again. And again 2 days later Will they ever give up my poor mother lol

Here is a update they are still calling my mother's house (phone) And she as asked them not too call ! Anymore saying I don't live there And can you belive this he said no I won't untill I hear from him !!!! Now my mother is almost 70 years old Oh its on now i WILL BE REPORTED THEM YOU CAN BET ON IT .Now they use a cell phone number so she don't know who it is

I too received the call to become a merchant banker for a cost of $495 plus $24,95 per month to host my own website and have been investigating to see if I would like to join or not.
I have found a bit of negative info about this business but nobody actually says how they were scammed.
How are they scamming people?
Are they not delivering what they promise?
Do you not earn from placing the terminals?
Do you not earn the residual monthly checks from the terminals?
Exactly what is it they are doing?
I would like to find out because if this system works I would love to be a part of it, yet I cannot find enough info about it to figure whether it is a scam or not. Please let me know if anybody out there has more info on the Economic Freedom Corp regarding merchant banking. They have a good rating on the Online Business Bureau. Is this bureau a scam too???

more bs from these yahoos.  I appreciate all the posts on this page.  I have a record of there being a number of phone numbers they use -- all starting with 520-280-02xx -- 36, 39, 44, 57 and 78 -- all of which come up as cell phones in Casa Grande, AZ when I search in WhitePages.com.  They never ever leave a message.  If you do not have the courtesy to leave a message, then do not expect me to give you the courtesy of answering your unknown calls.

This person called saying that she is a friend.  says some very nasty things to my 13 year old daughter and hangs up.  shecalled back twice laughing and making rude comments.  The # I received is 520.280.0525.  it brings me to some ones desk at EFC.

I started a home-base business with a company called Economic Freedom Corp (EFC). It wasnt merchant retails though; it was a debt resolution program and I must say this works! Ive only been in business for 3 weeks now and I've made $800 just for enrolling 4 people into one of the many debt resolution programs offered by EFC. Depending on what programs by enrollees participate in I may receive anywhere from $1,500 to $3,500 starting next month every month for the next 12-months, minimum. Thanks Shane (520-445-8141)! Just like you guys I thought I was being harassed by the same Economic Freedom Corp doing merchant retails. Come to find out that merchant retail company calling themselves Economic Freedom Corp is located in Arizona too and are fraudently using the information of the EFC I work in association with. That's why that merchant retails company calling themselves Economic Freedom Corp has a "A-rating" with the Arizona Corpoartion Commission. It's not them, but the real EFC!

Darren, I have just purchased a $495 program with EFC-- and I read your post that there are two different companies doing this business-- merchant processing and also debt consolidation-- how is it going for you this week--- can you help me sort out which one I signed up with?  Which one has the good rating in the BBB?  Did you find your own people to enroll in the debt resolution program?  Thanks for any info you can share.   Patti
