I was called by this number and the person told me she was calling me to finish registering me for a sweepstakes. The prizes sounded good, cash, cars and a vacation. The person said that I was picked for the sweepstakes by a bank service, but wouldn't say which. She let me choose out my favorite magazines and even between a Men or women's Geneva gold & diamond watch.. For free. She said 19 year olds usually aren't entered in so I was doing something right and to keep it up. She then transfers me to her supervisor who said that I was getting my prizes within 3-5 days but just needed one thing. 19.95 for a magazine subscription so I had to give her my card info. I told her I wanted to speak it over with my husband and the call went sour. She started questioning me why I couldn't pay 20 bucks.. It sounded too good to be true so I told her to take me out of whatever they're involved in, even if its a real company because I'd rather be safe than sorry..

"520 298 9020" same scam. Publishing ... Called my Google Voice number.. Blocking them now. Haha. FU.  

Yep... Same exact thing as the above writer. Promised to be entered for a vacation and all this other non-sense... Then they started asking some very personal, specific information- all of the same information that a credit report asks for. So when I became hesitant, she kept saying that they 'needed it in case I won a new truck, or a ford mustang..." BS!? So ya, this is definitely not legitimate and to me, they seemed to even be trying to steal identity info.

A lady called me today and said she was from my credit card company. She said by just having the card I was entered into a sweepstakes to win a car and/or a trip, and a bunch of other prizes. She tried fishing for information asking me how much I make and where I work, etc. This is definitely a scam. The number says it is the Hearst Corp in Tucson Arizona. The Hearst Corp does not have a subsidiary in Arizona. This is a scam.

As soon as I said I was in law enforcement, the *itch hung up , we should report to the better business bureau, thwy are not who they claim to be.
