Asked for the lady of the house. Told him she wasn't in and asked to take a message. Identified himself (see above) and stated no message.

This number just called me on a line that is unlisted, too. Didn't answer, but I hope the County Police haven't hired a shady service to solicit donations. If you want to donate, ask what the funds will be used for. Some support families who have lost someone in the line of duty; some have family picnics for their staff.

This phone number is calling to do fund raising for the Pima County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 20. I have called the number.  It directs you to a customer service department that can answer questions, help you donate, or anything else related to the FOP. Also, there’s information on www.pimalodge20.ning.com. Plus, you can contact them there with any questions or requests.
The FOP is doing a lot of really great things for the Pima County police officers and the people that call are trying to help them raise money so they can do even more good.

The Pima County Fraternal Order of Police does NOT solicit money via the phone. This is a scam. Snow is obviously a part of it, as this person continues to place misleading info about this group on all of the telephone number look up sites. The website Snow cites is not affiliated with the true FOP. Beware.

tired of phone solicitation replies to Snow Job
Unfortunately they DO allow a solictor to call on their behalf. They only get a small % (15%) of funds raised but I have spoken to Pima COunty Sheriff deputies wh owere involved in setting up this fund raising, albeit many years ago.

Won't leave a message, but have picked up before and gotten a company supposedly soliciting for the FOP. However, most police unions and groups will not use outside solicitation because they are so disreputable. (I have family who are police officers.) So, this is probably a scam as are most appeals for donations to "police charities" by telephone.

This fraud caller is not affiliated with any law enforcement/firefighter charity. Get as much information on this thief and report him to the office of the Arizona Attorney General in either Phoenix or Tucson. He dials all day long from several numbers and tries to get your credit card info.  Again, let's get this crook shut down!

    Known SCAM: http://www.tucsonnewsnow.com/global/story.asp?s=7026664

The Pima County Sheriff's Department has become aware of the public receiving "cold calls" by telemarketers.  The caller is identifying themselves as a representative of the Fraternal Order of Police and/or the Sheriff's Association.

The Fraternal Order of Police and Sheriff's Association for the Pima County Sheriff's Department does NOT solicit funds from the public.  Any funds received for these organizations are done by the citizen first contacting the organization.

This number calls our home almost daily. The man is very rude if you decline to donate. I told him I'm burdened with student loans and he angrily hang up. I really hope the State of Arizona will do its part to investigate this caller who is inconveniencing Arizona residents.
