This person called me, would not identify themselves, saying I entered a drawing for $20K. Told her I am not interested and do not live in 520 area code any more and she said she would "call back later"; I replied "do not call me back" but she hung up on me.

Called on my cell phone.  Calls are increasing on my cell.   I can't help but think Verison sold my number to scamers when I change companies.

A bright and cheery sounding young woman from a land far, far away (I could barely hear her over the crackling line) was pleased to inform me that my number was randomly selected to be enrolled in a contest to win 20k!! Oh, joy, I told her, right before requesting she remove my number from consideration and cease from ever contacting me again.

Just got a call from this number claiming that they were from direct buy and that my number was registered to win something.  I asked that they "unregister my number and never call back.

Same. Called my Verizon cell.

Just got the same call, on my Verizon phone. Entered to win a 20k kitchen from DirectBuy, wanted me to attend an open house and I would receive a free vacation getaway package for no obligation. Sounds like a company/timeshare scam.

They claimed they were from Direct Buy. I didn't give them a chance to explain what they were and hung up. I called the number back just for kicks and a lady answered saying it was Direct Buy. At the company is a real place but the number doesn't match the store's location.

Got the call from the same number, They didn't say anything they just hung  up on me. I though I recognized the the number but I researched before I would call back. Glad I did. I also have Verizon, So that has me wondering what Verizon did with my phone!?

Didn't answer and from what I read here I am glad I didn't.. also not just verizon. I have boost mobile (sprint)

Heavily accented woman answers when I called back,  says she's from Direct Buy and my number has been entered for a $40,000 lotto. She asks how old I am because I "sound very young", I asked her to remove my number and she said it was done without waiting for me to finish my sentence, then she hangs up on me.

Got a call twice from this number. Finally answered the second time they called and said hello twice and then heard someone say something and then hang up. Blocked number.

Haven't answered since I see it's spam but they've called me 3 times today, also been getting spammy texts but not from the same number- don't know what's going on

Direct Buy telling me I get free airfare to any major US city. He had a very thick accent and sounded like his was in the busiest and loudest call center ever.
