I had call last week, he didn't talking

I got a call from this number today from some woman who identified herself a Laurie. She asked me if I would like to reduce my credit card interest to 6.9%. She asked for my credit card number and expiration date. I asked her what credit card company she is with and she hung up on me.

Second day in a row this number called me.. I did not take it.. and they will not leave a message.

Received an automated call from this number today saying they were calling about my current credit card accounts. I tried to call the number back and it said the subscriber does not accept incoming calls. How convenient. The last time I got a call from this same company, it was a different person's number and when asked if I wanted to reduce my interest on my credit cards I told him no. I started to tell him (nicely) that I was calling to have my number removed from their call list (I am on a national do no call list) and he hung up on me before I could finish. If someone has a name for this company or a 1 800 # from an automated message it would be great! I am going to call them to pretend to be interested, keep them on the phone for a while and then ask them how it feels to have your time wasted when I let them know that I am not interested. Then I'm going to let them know that every time I get a call from them, I am going to do the exact same thing.

I was scared about that too! I got a call from this number. Indeed, I am Italian and I am woring in US since 6 months, and I am going back at the end of this week. Well...I tried to understand was she said at the phone, I asked to repeat but she already dropped. I tried to re-call but the number was not accepting calls...then I went on the web and ...I could say... finally I saw that many other people got this call! Then my credit card or bank account has nothing! :-)
I think people like those should pay for disturbing people and let them worry about things that have no sense!!!

I just got a call from this pretend credit company as well. same exact thing as everyone else.

I agree, i just got this call a couple minutes ago. Unfortunetly i missed the call and decided to google it. I came to this forum and it looks like im not the only one. I got the "reduce your credit.." call once before from a different number so i do agree that this number would be the same kind of call. I do wish they wouldnt go through your cell number, had enough going through the house phone. :P i guess the better thing is to not answer any number you dont know...:)

This is a scam. They won't say the name of their company. DO NOT GIVE INFORMATION to them. I was asking the csr a question and she hung up on me.

GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER ON MY CELL PHONE. SAID IT'S FROM CARDWELL BANKER SOMETHING ABOUT A CREDIT CARD. I DON'T HAVE CREDIT CARDS!!!!

Received a call from this number today and got worried because I never receive calls from bogus numbers.  I tried to return the call and it said that they don't accept incoming calls.  So glad I used the search engine to find you guys experienced the same thing.

Just got a call from this number, but no one was there.

Cellular phone out of Tucson, Arizona. Got that much info. It's a definate scam. Just ask them one question.

Just got a call from this same # on my prepaid too - didn't answer, thank goodness!!! Would've run down the minutes for no reason...tks everyone for the heads up

I got a call too. Same thing wont accept callbacks.This # is a scam block it!!!

Just got the call on my Cell.  They said they were Card Services.  I asked them for a street address and they said they only had a PO Box.  I told them they were calling me from somewhere and that there is a street address where they are and they told me to Google it and hung up after I told them I was turning them in to the Attorney General of my State for prosecution.

Just got a call, too. I answered it because I recognized it as being from Az. but I hung up after I realized that it was a scam call.I don't have any credit cards!

I just got a call also on my cell.  This is obviously a scam.  I am glad there are sites like this to help honest people avoid problems from jerks.
