A guy named Ray Paul said that he was a world wide collection agency and that their client, Pay Day Loans online, said that I borrowed $400.00 in Feb 2009. I told them that I didn't and that I never knew that you could borrow from an online company. He had my SS# and Bank acct no. (At least the last 4 digits of each.) He said that their client was filing a suit against me and ,my ss# (red flag) I plan to pay nothing and call the police

Robo recorded call soliciting support for a presidential candidate. This jerk won't get my vote. Everyone is tired of political calls and the election is over. Give it a rest please!

Put an item onto craigs list for sale for $350 and recieved 7 responses via email, all of them were fraud. The buyer said he definitly wanted the item but his secretary, (yeah, right) accidentally wrote the check for $3900.  I was to cash the check and send back the difference.  The check was phony.  I have notified the police but there is not much they can do as the calls are coming from Mexico which is a foreign country.  Just hope no one gets sucked into this scam.

I saw the number on my phone and let it ring.

Claimed to work for windows computer and I have a bad virus. I just said BS this is a scam, they try to get you to go into your computer and strip your bank accounts, they have called me 5 different times.

I just tell them let me talk to your mamanger, they always hang up.

If you said were sending the difference  you could probably get an address to post your "rebate"or bank account number for depositing. Have the police deliver the check in person !

April 4, 2012  4 pm CST - in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan received a call from this number but did not answer.

My daughter in law called from Florida, using Dad's phone number a 352 area code.   She called twice and both time the number on my call display was 1-521-904-4398.  I spoke to her and she confirmed that she used Dad's regular phone number.  Figure that!!!

They seem to be targetting Canada this week. Was called in BC at 6:54 am (!)  No one on the line.

Just had a call from an East Indian accented fellow from this number telling me we have a virus on our computer and he needed access to it to fix it. I told him he was a scammer and that I was calling the police and hung up on him. Now I see this number is busy in all kinds of scams. How do we shut this guy down?

received a call from this # yeterday, Apr 9th (East Indian type accent, male), asking for the owner of the computer to please log onto the computer immediately.  Claimed to be with Microsoft & needed to fix a problem that was crashing computers in my area!
I'm smart enough to recognize a scammer when they don't even know my name, yet they phoned me.

He's persistent . . . keeps calling back, sometimes from this #, other times the call display shows unknown name & number, but the voice & message is the same.

How do we get our phone #'s off of these loser's lists??

Got a call from a blocked number (very quiet, speaker had an Indian accent) claiming to be a Windows service provider, telling me I had accidentally downloaded malware and they were going to help me. We've gotten these calls before many times, so I decided to play with him a bit. I asked if these types of scam calls ever worked, and if he felt okay with the ethics of scamming people for a living. He stuck to his script tenaciously. I asked him to tell me my IP address, and he asked me to hang on for a moment, but I was bored and hung up.

Within a minute, I got a call back from this number (521-904-4398) from a different speaker - looks like I got bumped up to a supervisor! He tried to continue on with the script, claiming to work for a Windows service provider, and that I had malware on my computer. Further questioning revealed they only had the information available from the phone book and guessed wrong about the version of Windows I have. He finally gave up and hung up the phone.

Call from this number and a east indian man offered me a free ADT security system for free. Said he was from Toronto would not take no for a answer and told him to take off caller list and threaten to call ADT and police to report him then he hung up

Identified himself as "Henry from Windows", calling to let me know that I had "downloaded junk" onto my computer.  I told him that he was full of "junk", and hung up.

My mom got a phone call at 11 @ night disorintated her and she took the wrong meds and ended up in the hospital. He was calling about her computer of which she does not have one.
