Called and left no message.

robotcall regarding home owners septic system.  Claims not a sales pitch.

Couple of calls every day for last 2 weeks -- we don't answer ANY calls from a  number that's not familiar.

i received a call from (530) - 324 - 2385.  no one was on the line when i picked up and i couldn't call back.  isn't this illegal?  i can't call the number back and there's no way to opt-out of calls.  i thought a law passed several years ago provided options for consumers (or in this case call receivers) to follow up pro-actively.  

Many callers are located outside the US and ignore all US laws.  Invest in a call blocker.

Call came in this morning. No message left. Based on the above comments, call appears to be a scam. Suggest filing complaint with the FCC and the FTC.

Yes, it's a scam. And it doesn't matter if they say it's not a sales call, it is a sales call and/or it's a scam. And many sales calls for septic tank products are scams anyway. You give them money and they send you some dirt in an envelope....you can get the same thing outside for free.

Never call the number back. Scammers will never remove your number or put you on a do not call list.
If they are outside the USA you will be hit with high charges and could be put on hold to run those charges up even more. Some scammers also collect active phone numbers this way and sell them to other scammers.

Best to ignore the calls or block them in some way.

Got a call from this number. I am on the do not call registry. Is there a way to stop these calls. I don't answer because I don't recognize the number.

7 pm at night called and didn't leave a message... I believe same caller has called us before.  

Called and when my answering machine came on hung up.  These folks should be put out of business.

i got a call from eureka ca. the number was530-324-2385 but i didn't answer because i never answer the phone ifits anumber i don't recognize. i get tired of getting calls like this is there anyway we can stop these calls  any advice would be appreciated. when i get these kind of calls nobody ever leaves a message butoneday i got a call from a person that spoke another language besides english. i'm just tired of getting these kind of phone calls and how does peoplelike that get your phone number anyway.

Google your name & number, any place such as Spokeo that shows up, make them remove it. In the case of illegal telemarketers, they are using dialers and computers so only have to plumb in the set of numbers. Those don't recognize unlisted or DNC listed numbers. Criminals don't obey laws.  In other cases, they have gotten stolen information.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Calls at 9:15 EST. Recorded message "this is not a sales call we want to send you important information about your septic system". No way to request do not call.

Call Control is great...I use it but IT IS NOT FREE! Sure, you can use the "free" version but that will only allow you to block 10 numbers. The paid version, which allows unlimited numbers, is not expensive. It was only $7.95 when I bought it 4-5 years ago. It has switched over to two newer phones since then with no issue. They just (yesterday) updated to version 2.0.

Yes...it is a great app for smart phones...but it is not free for blocking more than a few numbers.

Got a call from this number at 4pm.  Let answering get  it.  No  message, as usual.  Am on do not calllist, but does no good. Why can we send men to moon and back, transplant organs, etc .etc but no one can  do anything to stop these very upsetting calls?

Do Not Call registry is another govt. sham that does nothing for anyone! You are on your own!

I just got a call from this number. Never have from this number before but they have apparently called using a different number since they hung up before the answering machine kicked on. I don't answer any unfamiliar numbers. Period.
