Spammer... didn't leave a voice-mail.  Called back with another number and confirmed.

calls everyday......getting tired of it. I know the number by heart. Def a spammer. This has been going on for 6 weeks now.manyone know how I can get them to stop?

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

low lifes doing anything to steal what you have bank accouts, credit card info just the scum of the earth & we have reported them to several agents, includeing goverment dept they are takeing this stuff seriously as we are, they ought to be in prison for ever nothing but bottom feeders & cockroaches.

"Thebestloan" and Smartsville, CA showed on Caller ID. "Sarah Jordan" sounded like a female computer voice asking questions about mortgage, monotone voice, spoke at same speed throughout the call, gave her company's name as "Lower Mortgage Quote." About a minute later Caller ID showed "LD MTG," 949-266-1760, Irvine CA called. It's Loan Depot.
 "Thebestloan" is a lead generator. Smartsville's population is 177 per the 2010 Census, in Yuba county, CA. Also known as Smartville after Jim Smart, a Gold Rush hotelier.

3rd call from 530 451-3750 in 2 days, no one there when I answered, now I don't answer

Automated sounding female voice asking about lower mortgage rates. Told her I have already refinanced & not interested. She totally ignored what I said & repeated she has lower rates & wanted to go over them & "lets get started" told her again I was not interested & to remove my number. She mumbled something & hung up. Sick of this!!!

I am receiving the same calls from Sarah.  They are using some caller type of caller id system to show different phone numbers (some in the US and some outside).  The Federal Truth in Caller Act of 2010 states it is illegal to "cause any caller identification service to knowingly transmit misleading or inaccurate caller identification information with the intent to defraud, cause harm, or wrongfully obtain anything of value:  Fines are up to $10,000 per violation (not to exceed $1,000,000).

Have been calling constantly, day after today, so today when they called, I picked up, and the second the lady  started to talk I said, " I picked up to tell you to STOP CALLING ME!"  She said, "I'll take you off the call list."
We'll see.

They have been calling me multiple times a day, but when I picked up, they just hung up. I added the caller to my "blocked caller" list. Luckily I found that option on my Iphone5. Hope that works.

Spammers!   Suggestion which I did!! go to google play store on your cell phone, download Free Mr Number blocker.  You can block them by sending them to your voice mail or cutting them on the first ring. you can also block area codes if you want. Have a collection of spammers on my cell, once a month I clean all their files. Can block text as well. Not sure if they have it for land lines.

Both my home and cell phones have blocking capabilities on them. I've blocked this number from my cell phone.
