This number keeps calling my wifes phone. Every time someone answers theres noone and then a hang up. Its getting mighty annoying seeing how i put a block on the number.

they called me and I have previously been ripped off by a scam. I told him he was not from Windows, and I told him not to call me again.He argued with me and said he was from Windows not Microsoft......  This goes on and on and on.... I am going to have to change my number or get another one..... these guys are scum. BLocking this number on my phone..... I am not able to answer my phone as they will just use another number to harrass me.......

Just got a call from a foreign sounding guy telling me my windows RFID sent windows error report and my windows computer was infected.  I told min I had MAC he wouldnt believe me

I received a call from the same nbr. He had my name and address. Thanks to your post that i did not gave any information to him. I told him that i am aware that it is a scam. He was upset with me and told me that if anything happens to my system i will be responsible....

Told them if they call again police will be notified. Called me a sob.

"out of service" means the number is spoofed  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caller_ID_spoofing  and your caller should be treated as hostile.

Consider greeting your caller with a whistle, air horn or screaming smoke alarm.

I am "Waiting" for one of these guys to try calling me.  I will then take some time while I boot up the computer that has windows on it.  I will not tell them that I will be booting it up in the Ubuntu Linux partition - the one I use 95% or more of the time.  Using that computer, I will respond in a reasonably similar way to the way that Microsqish would respond.   I may even download some software (If it is free, if not, I will use a random Visa card and play with them from there) from them and see what Wine (The Windows emulator) does with it.  It will probably give some error message because the software cannot get at the non-existent files and permissions that it needs to to mess up a microsqish system.  


At some point I will let the cat out of the bag and let them know what my machine is running at that time.  Then I will probably lean some new Hindi vocabulary;  Words that are not in the standard dictionary.

I got a call from these guys and had them going for over 15 mins. I was laughing so hard the whole time, I told them I couldn't find my keyboard, than I couldn't see the screen. Than I got connected to the "supervisor" who tried to help me find the my keyboard and screen,, after those 15 mins of me laughing they finally caught on and hung up. Nothing but a bunch of morons.

Just got a call from these clowns as well.  I figured I might as well play them for as long as I could to prevent them from calling and scamming other people since I already knew from sites like this one that this was a scam.   I finally told him my computer was frozen and he put the "supervisor" on the phone and then I asked if it was a free service he was offering and he said there could be a small charge so then I told him forget it and hung up on him. LOL.

I received this call this morning.  He had an accent making it hard to understand him.  He addressed me as Mrs. **** and said you live in Ontario and something about computer and Microsoft.  I said this is a scam and hung up.

I just got the same call and the same number with Indian accent guy. He asked me to turn on my computer so he can help me with virus detection.
I told him "F" off and that you scam, he hang up.

Just got a call from these guys.  Calling from "Windows Certified Systems" in Delaware.
Let me tell you, most fun I've had all night.  I kept them on the line for 25 by playing a little dumb and going along with it.  I got passed to 3 different guys over the call. They asked me to first look at all the "viruses" in my Event Viewer log.  Then wanted me to go to www.fastheal.net to download a .exe file. (I didn't click it). I told them my virus protection software flagged it.  So he told me to try TeamViewer instead.  I already had that installed, so when he kept asking me for my ID number I persistently gave him the wrong number over and over.

At the 25 minute mark I decided enough was enough and told him I was onto his scam and was deliberately wasting his time.  He asked if I thought viruses were a joke, I told him that he was a joke to me and told him about this website.  I told him I was going to waste as much of his time as I could tonight, since when he's on the phone with me, he's not harrassing others. He said he wouldn't hang up, so I put him on speaker phone and queued up some classic rock to play for him.  But after less than a minute he said something like "[***] you sir" and hung up.

That's how I usually handle these guys, but I like Matthew's "Hold on while I Google your number" approach.  Might try that if I'm in a hurry next time.

Scammer with heavy Pakistani accent said he was with CitiBank then hungup. I checked the number
Called Citibank to report it and they will add this number to their scammers list.

Just got a call from this number, saying call was because my "genuine" Windows application was infected with spyware and hackers were accessing all of my information. Calling number had V02281030540064 as well as the regular phone number. Guy with an East Indian accent said he was calling from Wilmington Virginia and his name was Victor Scott. He said he was going to fix the computer by giving instructions on the phone.Yeah right!!!!!! I've had this kind of call lots of times in the past, so I am aware.

I keep receiving a call from this number telling me that my computer is full of viruses.They say it is Microsoft calling me. Is really so carefull this huge company of my computer? I dont think so. I just wonder how they got my number whoever this number is.

Didn't leave a message on my voicemail, but Caller ID registered "V30500101600003" as a name.  I never answer the phone if I don't recognize the Caller ID information.
