Didn't answer - recorded message left that I need to call back so they can help with action by US Treasury re appearance before a magistrate, blah, blah, blah....
Obviously a scam.  Left a name and number but couldn't make out the name due to some sort of accent.

Got the same call on the answering machine.  Another scam.  Couldn't understand the name; foreign accent; calling about US Treasury action

Sounded like he gave his name as Dennis Quaid, but the accent makes that seem unlikely.  Garbled echo chamber but in sounded like it was a threat whereby I must call him to NOT intentionally be avoiding to be present before a magistrate (not a usual USA term) or a federal grand jury.  Well, sounds to me like I need a lawyer. Could be scam to phish old people of whom I am one thereof.

Don't reply, and don't worry about a lawyer--this is an obvious scam.

Answered phone to a recording stating the police, magistrate,US Attorney General would be taking measures to arrest me for an IRS?? problem. Scam tried to call back as I have a message for them😁 also said his name was Dennis Quaid!

Caller ID "5307218096" ... Dec. 10 at 1:38pm Eastern time. This call ended after one ring. It may have been blocked by a free service I subscribe to which is available to most Internet-based VoIP phone service users(I have Time Warner). Google "No more robocalls" to get more information.

Exactly as above.  The caller didn't have a foreign accent, but more of a slight speech impediment, I'd say.  Quality was poor.  Identified as "Dennis Quaid" or something similar.   My caller id says the call is from South Lakes T CA

Received a fraudulent call from this number with someone pretending to be from US Treasury

I keep getting calls from this number 530 721 8096, but my caller ID shows it as originating in Washington. The name sounded like Dennis Quaid, ha ha, and as stated by others threatened a lawsuit from the US Treasury or terrible things would happen. I could barely make out his name and felt his speech was just inarticulate, but it could be foreign. I feel sorry for those who panic easily and call. I wonder what would happen if you did- would they demand money. Anyway, I went on the IRS website and clicked on a link to report phone scams involving the treasury.

.530-721-8096 Got the same call. When I returned the call I was immediately called back and was informed that the caller was from the US Treasury Department, Caller had a strong Indian Accent that I could hardly understand. He mentioned that I made an error in filling my US Income Tax for 2011 and that there was a warrant out for my arrest. I told him to go F--- himself and to send me a letter from the US Treasury Dept. Obviously this is a scam. I have never had a problem filling income tax my 60 years of filling.

"Robert Fisher" refused to tell me who the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury was.  He hung up when I asked him if I could arrange a three way call with the local IRS office.

They called to tell me they were from the US Treasury and were pursuing a legal action against me for a discrepency in past taxes. Clearly a scam. Called three times today already. I've started just turning on some intense porn at max volume and hold the receiver up to the speakers. Strangely the guy hung up when i asked if his co-workers knew he was touching himself,

I have received repeated calls with this scam supposedly from the IRS and telling me that I would be arrested and brought to a magistrates court which do not exist in most places in the US. The speaker has a heavy Indian or Pakastani accent. THE IRS does not phone!

Caller left a message identifying himself from the US Treasury Department. Warrant out for my arrest. Sounded like he was in an echo chamber.

Dennis Quaid is what I heard too...I believe like all of you this is a huge scam.
I feel bad for the elderly who get sucked in by these idiots.

I got the same ridiculous Dennis Quaid message from the above phone number this morning at 10:17a

Looks like they are "canvassing" the Atlanta Metro area today. We are in the Acworth/Kennesaw area. Got the same threatening call from some heavily foreign accented male. Obviously fishing. Reporting them and ignoring. Had these before. Spoke to County Sheriff and US Treasury before and there is "little they can do". Apparently they have never heard of the NSA and its immense capabilities.
