Just got a call today 8/11/14 from this number saying they were from ADT. Wanted to schedule a job interview in their Greensboro, NC office. After some questions, I apparently didn't meet the "qualifications" and they told me good luck on my job search. I should have been more cautious but I have been looking for a job for a while now and I guess I jumped at the chance for an interview. Didn't even ask what the position was. Now that I researched the number, I guess this is a scam.

Similar to Dean, I received a call from a person at this same number also advertising an interview. I have also been applying for jobs, however, I do not recall sending any resumes or putting in for a position for ADT Security, nor do I recall of a position being open in the area. Strangely, when I called back a message came through that the number was not in service and actually gave me a different number to dial.

Got a call today from this number claiming to represent ADT Security.  Someone named Megan.  She called from this number, but left a Florida number to return the call.

I received a call as well but didnt answer on time and a lady named livia said the hiring manager got my resume from careerbuilder and wanted to set a formal interview. This is a Virginia number I live in Florida so she went to leave a call back number but the message cut off before she said the callback number and I could not understand what the name of the company she was calling from. I called the 540-364-5826 number she called from and it said it was a disconnected number so I decided to look up number on website and I came to these posts about its a scam.

I received a call today around 3:15 from a lady named Megan from ADT, stating that her boss received my resume and that they wanted to set up an interview with me. I never applied for a position at ADT. During this call we had interference, she kept saying that I was going in and out and that she could barely her me. I advised Megan that I would call back once I pulled over from driving within 15min. I tried calling the number back as listed from my number, it stated was not in service.  540-364-5826. So I decided to look into this on the web and found other people have been called by the same person. IT A SCAM.

Same thing happened to me 90 minutes ago.
My question is what do this people want?
I am concerned about this, obviously now I know is a scam, but what are they doing with all of our information?
name, address, phone number, e mail addresses?

It is a legitimate call for a job interview! On Career builder they are listed as an anonymous company when/and if you submit your resume! I had a voice message on my phone just a couple of days ago requesting that I please return the call, but was given a different number than the one that the call was initiated from! When I called the lady back, I was scheduled for a formal interview with the hiring manager of the company! It's definitely not a scam! Good luck everyone on your job search!
