Called at 7:51AM and 3:55PM.  Hung up as soon as it went to voicemail.

I answered the call.  Conversation was:
Me: Hello
He:  (after short pause)  Hello  (sounded accented)
Me: How may I help you?

Called several times when I was out. Called just now. Foreign accent. Said calling about Windows, the computer.  I told caller I have no windows computers, he hung up. SCAM suspected

Did not answer both times that this number called today. no message left. 540-543-8745 now blocked.

Calling constantly for 3 days. Claims to be computer repair, foreign voice difficult to understand. also uses number in my area code 352-187-8787

It is a total scam, they want acess to your pc via your ip address. I like to toy with them for a while pretending to be concerned, then when they ask for the information, I spell out a vulgar word and start laughing asking them if they really think I'm that dumb. I get the calls every 3 to 5 months. Once they figure out I'm not a mark, they mostly hang up, I did have one guy tell me he knew where I lived. I laughed even harder and gave him my address and told him I'll be waiting for him. Then asked him how much his family made as dirt farmers while laughing uncontrollably, he got pissed and called me an American pig. I laughed for another 15 minutes after that.

Somebody named Mr Head Dot called about fixing my broken computer. I told him I don't have a computer but he didn't believe me and asked me to get my Credit Card - Mr Head Dot said he prefers American Express. When I asked the Head Dot why he said to fix my computer.

I got a call from a man , foreigner, very thick accent, could hardly understand him, I had to get him to repeat things several times, then he put someone else on the phone told me that my computer has a virus!! I said no it don't!!! He told me that I registered it through my home phone, which I didn't do!! He said he would help me fix it.. So I acted like I done what he told me too...and he wanted to know what it said... I said.. it won't do anything now!! I said you are not scamming me.. he said no no no.. I said that's right NO!! he ended up hanging up on me... I tried to called the # back and it said not in service!!

I have received this call several times.....once I had my computer on and he actually "toyed" with my mouse, trying to intimidated me when I told him I didn't want him to "fix" my pc.  The phone number was through Verizon.  I was actually able to track it to an apartment building, last year, but no actual address.

They must all be put out of business!  Invasion of privacy and more.

called at  4:31 pm on 1/14/2016 , i didn't answer and they hung up when answer machine started. thanks to people on here i know it is foreign scammers.

Repeat calls. No answer on other line. Just hang up.

Received a call saying that he was calling in behalf of Microsoft windows security and that my computer was infected with malware and that they had detected a hacker using our computer.
We had this idiot on the phone for 20 minutes acting like we did not know how to use my computer.

Answered even though I know NO-One who would be calling me from Virginia (per TV caller ID). Indian accent saying he was from Microsoft and my computer was sending errors. I played with him for a while, and then cut him off.

They have called my business line 3 times today and hung up every time I answered.

Yes. Same thin here in New York.  Obvious feeble scam but it goes on and on year by year.  Sad comment on number of idiots there are they must catch.   Perhaps they have some way of capturing info via the phone but no sign of it in three years.   One should perhaps be a little sorry for the desperate Inidians they employ, suffering all this abuse!

Claimed to be Windows! Then said she was Microsoft out of New York! I said give  me your name and number and I'll call you back and she said she was Linda Weasley number 31 and hung up. Had a thick oriental accent and was not calling from Virginia but was obviously from overseas phone room.  Wanted me to log on to my computer and give her permission to log into to it so she could "Fix It" because a hacker was hacking into it at 4 am! Lol, I am a Microsoft Certified Programmer! I'm still laughing!!!

Called saying I had a problem with my windows system. Knew this was a scam as I don't have a Window's system, I have a Mac. Played along for a while and was directed to 'validator.w3.org' website and asked to enter my web address. At this point I told them that I thought this was a scam, have a nice day and hung up.

Called this morning and then hung up when he realized it was a lawfirm.  Caller ID showed Virginia - 540-543-8745
