I have gotten about 6 calls from this number. They actually responded this time and it is some kind of sweepstakes. They tried to get me to buy a magazine subscription.

I received 3 calls this morning and no one responds. I also received a strange call from someone claiming to work for VISA and Chase bank last week wanted my credit card number so they can give me a gift card. eff

I got a call and asked them to remove me from their mailing list. NO ONE SPEAKS ENGLISH, for 1. then no more than 30 minutes later, I got another call from the same number. I spoke w/ their sup named Shawn, who also was obviously not Irish, really guys? He said that this is a company called Directory Assistance Promotional Department. He said he didn't know the main phone # for this business. There are laws against harrassment. Hopefully whoever these morons are will realize that.

This is the company that hosts the #. If you send an email to service@coretel.net it will open a service ticket w/ them and they can research who is doing this.

called me six times in one day. three times i punched the #3 to take my time off the call list. then i called them and attempted to tell the agent to take me off, but of course he cut me off. then i called and they immediately switched me to a recording to 'enter the 10 digit number that you want removed'. i'm going crazy with them.

This board is simply a sounding board for people to vent and inform others of scam telemarketing calls they receive.  There is no authority associated with the 800notes site to stop these callers.  In order for people to collectively stop these type calls they must act together - and TAKE ACTION!.  It doesn’t do any good to complain about a caller on this board unless you then take the next step and do something about it!  And never, never, ever engage the caller or call back the number.  The false robo callers will then capture your number as a ‘live one’ and use it over and over and sell it to other scammers.
The DO NOT CALL list is worthless, they do not act on anything, just build a database of numbers.
In order to do something to help stop these type calls, everyone - EVERYONE needs to file an online complaint directly with the FCC.  If they receive enough complaints about a particular number - they will act on it.  Do it today and pass along the info:
