This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by repeatedly calling even after being told to stop calling and take the number of their lists. They call offering discounted credit card processing services, but are most likely a scam based on their telemarketing techniques. They do not provide an address or phone number when asked, instead they transfer you to hold music. This is clearly a scam. Do not provide this scammer with any personal or financial information.

A man just called and my daughter answered. If you could listen in on these calls from telemarketers you'd love it, she loves to mess with them. The man asked for owner (my husband) by first name. She asked if he'd like to make an appointment. He said he wanted to talk to the person in charge of our merchant accounts. She said that would be me (it isn't). He asked for her name. She asked where are he was calling from. He said MBC, Merchant Bankcard - note the Caller ID said "T Industries" - she likes to look them up online while she has them on the phone so she can "discuss" their reputation, usually horrible. She looked it up (www.mbcmerchant.com). He said we're the LARGEST merchant service.

That's when the messing with the guy really got going. She said I'm the largest one too! I'm the largest one here (she's the smallest). She started laughing hysterically and said I mean, I'm really HUGE. A little more chit chat, then she interrupted him and told him she had a cold and didn't feel well, and her cat had woke her up in the middle of the night howling in the driveway, having a fight with another cat. THEN she started to demonstrate - two cats squaring off, getting louder and louder and louder ... by then she was really cracking up (which added to her act). She said "I told him, Hemingway, you stop that!" The guy said that's your cat's name? So she started the story about how he got his name. He thanked her for her time and it was done. Made my day.

Is the number they are calling you on a business line? (I assume so, since they're trying to sell you merchant services.) The DNC registry does NOT APPLY to business numbers. It's irritating as hell because businesses get the bulk of these scammers. You can put your business number on the list, they don't check if it's a business or not, but telemarketers are free to ignore it. That needs to change.

    TI - Targeted Individual
I have been a TI for years and just learned from Centurylink that these are disconnected but real landline numbers that are not currently connected.  It's called "spoofing software" and is used by the government agencies for multiple reasons.  They always call me on EXACTLY the quarter hour.  Today's was 1:45.  It was good to hear from my pals at "T Industries" again - LOL!  If you have odd noises like honking, revving engines, firetrucks/ambulances sirens around your business or home on the quarter hour, including "wrong number" phone calls - It's THEM.  It's a State run harassment program.  Now you know.

Just received a call from 541-216-7959.  Wasn't rude, the man wanted to speak to the person in charge of our credit card processing, assuming to sell merchant services to us.  Anyway, told him we don't accept credit cards, and wished each other a nice day.  Do not know what company he was with.

We need to band together and file a class action lawsuit against T Industries. They are disrupting my business with incessant calls every 5 seconds to 15 minutes on two of my new lines I've just had changed because of robocalls. I can't run my business and damages are excessive. There is a law firm that advertises on TV called Sokolove Law and their phone number is 818-981-7400. If enough of us called to file a lawsuit against these people for disrupting businesses, then, it may set a precedent that will slow or even stop these people. The next step would be to fight for legislation to outlaw the use of autodialers.

Well, I called Sokolove Law and they said they don't do this kind of representation. They said to call the American Bar Association at 415-538-2250, but their recording only referred me to their web site saying that they don't recommend anything or anyone over the phone. How about we find T Industries' address and gather outside their office with torches, sticks and pitch forks demanding that they send out the monster that allows this crap!
