You cannot call this number, it appears to be spoofed.

I get calls from this number all the time. They never leave a voicemail.

The Obama campaign makes these calls and I let them know they should leave messages saying who there with.

They call and then hang up.

The phone rings at the office I pick up, no one there and the calls disconnects.  You can call the number and visit a web site or hold for an operator to have your number removed.

Have received two calls from this number within an hour. I screen the calls of phone numbers I don't recognize and the caller disconnected when my answering machine picked up. The second time, the caller didn't disconnect but instead left an 'air message'.

'Got the ninth call from them around noon today.  They persist in calling, receiving a recording "The number you have called is not receiving calls from your number" each time that they call.

(Good number to have your FAX machine make a few hundred FAX attempts to   ;)  ... Since they obviously don't respond to the VOICE recording that they receive each time they call )

Why not satisfy Larry Meyer's request and relate your experience....  Then do likewise for each of the other employees.  It's their "nickel", being an "800" number.

I called the the 800 number listed above and promptly talked to a very nice lady in Minnesota. It is a fund raising number for Obama. I told her I support Obama but don't like being called a dozen times and not knowing who it is. She agreed.

Since the 2008-07-21 posting (11 calls at that time), there have been 26 MORE calls from this same number.  

They are enraptured with my recording: "The number that you have called is not accepting your calls at this time."

Get ready everyone!  On Sunday the second, Meyer Associates will be blasting us with "Get Out To Vote" calls.  This is going to be totally insane.  ANd let's not forget that they will most likely be calling us on election day to remind us all to get out to vote.  They apparently think that we are so mindless that we can't do it on our own.  And it's not like everything won't be published in every newspaper and broadcast on every radio and television station in the country.

Warning:  If you see a number that you don't recognize over the next 4 days, DON'T ANSWER IT!  JUST LET IT RING!  Maybe these idiots will get the idea.
