Since this appears to be a new list, I assume I am on a list for Scammers-in-Training. They probably still wet the bed at night. But I do for them what I do for real professional scammers. Never answer the phone (I do ask for a message to be left) and block the number. Get yourself a Panasonic phone system that blocks 250 numbers. Check amazon.com for one. A nice feature is when the jerks call back, there is no ring to irritate you.

my wife went into the hospital a week ago. the lowest of the low.

been getting calls from this number--Burial insurance      its too bad that there this type of people around     no wonder there is so many laws passed for protection against these people

Did they see me visiting my parents grave site on Mother's Day?
Scary times. :-(

Caller didn't even wait to go to answering machine in order to leave an enticing message.
Hope this is a "One & Done" and not a 3 times a day caller.

"Burial Insurance" -- recorded message that is coded to "react" when you say something, making it obvious that older recipients are targets ... it's not easy to tell that it's not a live caller. And Mirwerks, you're right. I just lost my mother, so perhaps these ghouls are watching obituary notices.

Im on gov't. no call list, but this nos. 541-512-6206 from Oregon keeps calling. Pls. block this low life SOB.

Unbelievable!  We had a missed call at the exact time we were at a funeral for my son's best friend who was tragically killed in a vehicle accident. Wonder if they are trolling the funeral home website comments? It just seems like a strange coincidence since this is the first funeral in a while we have been involved with. If it is not a coincidcence, then it is truly in bad taste.

Of course this is a scammer - and they're probably just spoofing the number and/or put in the Burial Insurance CID to make people think that it's a legitimate business. Since they are scammers, they are not going to pay attention to the No Call list - that's given out to businesses who follow the law, and those companies will not call numbers on the list. Scammers don't care--they robodial (also against the law), ignore no-call lists, and call numbers in order, so expect to see them on your cell phones as well. I very much doubt that they're trolling the funeral lists - they don't want to take the time to do that for every little town or even a big city - they'd rather hit all the numbers they can possibly hit.

My 85 year old mother was visiting me after some bad news from her doctor.  I was mowing the lawn and didn't hear my phone ring.  I have installed caller ID since the amount of robo-calls have tripled lately, even though I have a registered do not call number.  She was hesitant to answer my phone and looked at the caller ID.  Now she thinks her doctor and I are keeping worse news from her.  These people should rot in hell

Came up as Talent OR.  Even though answering machine kicked in, the person said hello and ask if anyone was there.  Well no, this is the answering machine!
