called, no message

Claims to be calling on behalf of OSU alumni assocation

I ran this number through the OSU web site's "find someone" and got NOTHING.  This caller now calls nightly at around 8 p.m. CST.  Leaves no message and said nothing the one time I answered.

Call came in around 9PM.  I didn't answer, but am assuming it is OSU in their annual fund raising drive.  My late husband did graduate from OSU, but they are still trying to get money out of me.  I just let the answering machine pick up if they let the phone ring that long.  As long as I have caller ID, I won't answer any calls from anyone I don't know.

Called at noon one day and left no message, called again the next day at 8pm PST.  I also looked this number up on "find someone" on OSU's website and it wasn't listed.  I haven't answered it yet, and probably wont after reading the following comments on it.

I spoke with the guy on the phone tonight and he is calling form the OSU foundation. In my case he was requesting to donate to the Senior Fund in which I am a Senior at OSU. If you google the number it leads to the OSU Foundation information and if you search for the OSU Foundation on the OSU website it will link to a website.

These folks are calling random numbers. I got this on my cell phone.  I have absolutely no affiliation with OSU.  I told them that and they still were begging for money.

8:35 Eastern Standard Time, received a call from a young man.  Asked if my husband by name was in, as well as, did he graduate from OSU.  I said he was unable to come to the phone at this time.  He would have to speak to you directly.  May I have a name and number where he could call you back.  The young man said no because he was in a call center and that they would put his name back onto a list and try to call him back. I did not let him go any further with our conversation.

They call every year about this time - every night at the same time and it annoys the crap out of me! I refuse to answer because they only beg for donations for OSU. I graduated from OSU but I refuse to donate anymore money than I already did during my 4 years there.

Yeah, this number calls me all the time, and I graduated from OSU also....

Getting tired of them calling me, frankly. I still have 20k left on my school loans, so not ready to give OSU $$ just yet...

Looks like OSU fundraising. Found this aid on craiglist with this number listed as callback. "OSU Foundation is Hiring student callers!" http://corvallis.craigslist.org/mar/838075566.html

Rec'd call at 8:45pm 10/21. Didn't answer as caller I.D. indicated OSU Fdn.

I get a call from this number every 3 or 4 days at exactly 8pm.  This has been happening for the past month.  I have never answered since it was concerning me how often this was happening.  They never leave a message either.

Just got this call tongith at 7:14 pm on my CELL phone!  I missed the call and didn't recognize the number so looked it up, and saw this posting site.  My daughter is still a student at OSU. Enough already!

I have been called twice by this number and have never answered. No messages. I live in Corvallis and am a senior at OSU. From what i read here it must be a fundraiser thing. So annoying......

Found a missed call from this number, 6:36 PM PDT. I am an alumni of OSU.

OSU Alum here also - Cell phone - no message. Looks like they still need $$.

I am assuming that we are all parents or students or alumni of OSU. I am also assuming that we have all taken part in the "Do Not call List" targeting telemarketers (I may be calling this by the wrong name but you know what I mean) Why is an esteemed University using a call list to solicit ???  I am also getting 8 pm calls from this number...any thoughts?

I get the calls every few months, its the same school who takes all my savings for the kids tuition, seems they want more $$$.  Sorry OSU, I'm all tapped out.  Try your book store, they also have a lot of our money judging by my check book, maybe they could kick in a couple of bucks.   :)
