Got a call, but they left no voicemail

i got a call from them too! from ontario, oregon? they've called me many times and i dont know who they are. they just called again and i answered and no one was there. it was silent. creepy!!

This isn't much help, sorry. I answered the call since it was a local number but the connection was horrible and I could barely understand the woman. She said she was from (garbled company name) and asked how I was tonight. I told her I could barely understand her. We exchanged a couple of "hellos" then I just hung up. She hasn't called back.

I've received several phone calls from this number in the past few days. The last one, just minutes ago, ended -- as others have -- with a couple of clicks. Two yesterday, on very bad connections, sounded like political polls, and started with "Hello, I'm so-and-so, calling from whatever-their-name-is. This is not a fund-raising call. How are you today/tonight?" The first of these calls lasted the longest, with me telling the pleasant-sounding young woman that I couldn't understand her, the connection was terrible, and "Please take me off your list." She just kept talking over me, so I hung up. I tried to call the number back, with no result.

I want these people to stop calling me, but doubt they will after reading previous posts. I guess my best bet is just not to answer when they call. How annoying! Isn't there any way they can be stopped. I thought I was on the "Do Not Call List."

Missed this call this morning and I called the number back because the call came on my phone that I use for my job. All I got was "Thank you for calling, we are having high call volume," in an oriental accent and no company name given at all. I suspect it is one of these scams to either try and steal one's identity or ring up charges on your phone number...butt-heads!

I have been recieving calls from this number for a few days now and I have not once gotten a response from whoever is on the other line, its silence. I called the number back and it just said "this number is no longer in service". That kind of worried me, so I called my phone company and had the number blocked.

Have had numerous calls from this number stating that they were some political group.  They don't seem to want the person answering the phone to understand the name of the group.  I finally kept trying until I got a real person on the line and demanded a number that I I could call back to.  She gave me 877-234-8384 which is answered by a marketing group.  I was pretty forceful letting them know that I did not want any more calls from them and she did say that she would take my number off their list.  Whether that happens or not is anyone guess.

I have recieved 5 calls from this number in the past 8 hrs. Everytime I answer, nobody responds, so I hang up. I would like these calls to stop. It is harassment.

Same for me--never say anything, never answer a call back. Annoying

Disguised as a political survey for Oregon District 4. The survey is extremely biased, and meant to promote Art Robinson by stating lies about Peter Defazio and then asking if you would support either candidate more or less after hearing the false statements.  Is this legal?  How can we shut them down.  They called 3 times a day and every time I had answered the connection is so choppy it was not worth staying on the phone.  I asked for them to put me on a do not call list.
