This is the ridiculous message left on my machine, by a man with a very thick Indian accent pretending to be from the IRS.

"Hi.  This is Mark Anderson, calling you from Internal Revenue Services.  I-R-S.  The reason of my call is to inform you that there is a lawsuit been filed against you regarding an tax evasion and tax fraud.  Now, before this case goes to your [garbled] courthouse, or before you get arrested, I want you to call us back to get more information regarding this lawsuit.  The number you can reach me is at 541-948-8241.  I repeat: it's 541-948-8241.  So please do reach us as soon as possible, and please don't [garbled] or block this message, as this situation enfolds you.  Thank you, and have a great day.  God bless you."

Got the same message from yesterday and today!

Got a call from this number at 10:00 am today, 8/11/15.  Thick heavy Indian accent, gave name as Mark White from IRS.  When asked questions about what is his position in IRS and what is this in regard to, he refused to answer, nearly yelling and wanted to ask further questions.  Upon being asked to answer my questions first as he has called, he insisted I answer his questions.  Upon refusal he hung up.

Same message. If you call no answer. If I check it in time, I tell them the made the call to the wrong person, that I work for DOJ. Then click!

If you should answer tell them the number has been turned over to DOJ! They'll hang quickly. Ask for the name, what department, etc. I have reported this number. I think they use a pre paid phone.

They stated that I'm wanted for tax fraud. And that I'm going to be arrested. When I asked for which tax year is the fraud for, they hung up.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Yep....I have received the same call this week two times......

I have received numerous calls from this same person. I am a FED employee and decided to call them back from a blocked GOV number. The same person who left the message answered the call but was quite disturbed that he couldn't see my number. When I asked him directly if he was with the IRS (Internal Revenue Service), he started sidetracking and never gave a direct answer. I advised him that I was a Federal LEO and invited him to come to my place of business and place me under arrest.....he hung up on me! I have since received the same message from multiple different numbers. Every time I block the number, about 1 month later they find me again.

tax fraud same as the other posts, a woman called about 2-3 weeks ago with a heavy Indian accent today was a man again with an  Indian accent - Mark Anderson -signs off with "God bless you"

I get this same message at least 3 times a week.
