THIS NUMBER CALLED ME WANTED MY MOTHERS NAME, LAST 4 SS #, MY MAIDEN NAME, DOB. DUH!!!!! SAID HER NAME WAS LISA AND SAID SHE COULD NOT TELL ME WHAT HER COMPANY REPRESENTS. SAID SHE NEEDED THIS INFO TO MAKE SURE I WAS THE RIGHT PERSON SHE WAS LOOKING FOR. DOES THIS COMPANY REALLY EXIST? I HAVE EXCELLENT CREDIT AND I DO NOT HAVE ANY OUTSTANDING/UNPAID BILLS. PEOPLE NEED TO BE CAREFUL SOUNDS LIKE IDENTY FRAUD.

My boss just got a phone call from these people at HER HOME, NOT MY HOME, HER HOME, wanting my home phone number.  I looked up the company and I sent them an email asking them what they want with me.  My God, how stupid!

Receiving calls on my business cellphone from these guys and so is my uncle. What can I do?

This company Keeps calling me about a deliquent Student loan. I have never had a student loan, the name they have is the same as my name but diffrent SS# and DOB. they still call 3-4 times a day i am sick of it.

Asking for "Donat Grillet". I have had this phone # for over 3 years. It was his # previously. I told the woman that this was not his phone number, it was mine and to stop calling, as I have received over 75 calls from people looking for him. She got upset with my anger and went off on me. And then, hung up.

I made one mistake by befreinding a 'dead beat' 10 to 12 years ago, I didn't know that she was a dead beat, and I haven't seen her since.  She asked me to be her reference and like the gulible idiot that I am I became her reference. I haven't seen her nor spoke to her since graduation, and still I get calls from these collection agencies. I pay my bills and slowly paying off my debts and my student loan is paid off. These agencies won't leave me alone, I don't know where she is and I don't care, and I've told these agencies just exactly that.  Now, DCS is calling me. I'm the honest one and I'm the one who gets harassed.  Can she steel my identity by using just  my phone number?

calls often it is most likely a collection agency trying to scare and scam you out of your money! they never answer when you pickup! fyi I don't owe any debt so why are they allowed to computer auto dial people's phones! telemarketers aren't allowed so why are they allowed to call it is the same with those so called "survey" and "charities" they sell your number and they wonder why you answer rudely when they keep calling after you politely ask on the first time to have your number removed from their lists!

Started receiving calls from DCS Inc.  Never received any mail from them, don't know who they are. Spoke to a Jane Light, who was looking for my son (he does not live with me).  Jane called from 541-955-7873 but asked to be contacted at 541-956-8822.  Jane stated she was calling from Oregon.

Can't get them to stop calling

Person name, Lisa, asked if she was speaking to (my name) then advised she wanted to be sure she had the right number because she just looked in a directory but then said she is trying to reach the mother of someone with my last name. I told her I don'tknow that person & I am an identity theft victim and she probably is looking for the person who is impersonating me but she advised she was sure this was an actual person, thanked me, & hung up. I called back 3 times & she would keep immediately placing me on hold.

A woman named Jamie Monroe called me at work looking for a friend. She claimed she was calling for a business reference - and needed to speak to him. When I asked what type of reference she claimed it was ilegal to tell me and insisted I give her my friend's contact info. I was curious why she was calling for a biz reference but did not have contact info for him directly I asked her the name of her company: DCS Incorporated. I asked her what that stood for and she repeated DCS. I told her it would be stupid of me to give her info when she would not evern identify her company, Then she insisted I take her phone number. I did not and hung up on her. THE PEOPLE WHO WORK FOR THIS COMPANY ARE EVIL LIERS.

Thanks for leaving the messages about this company.  I'll set my ringtone at silent for these folks.  I don't have a student loan.  I'm not a student.  My cell phone is 2 weeks old.  I don't need a headache.

They called here yesterday, I didn't pick up but one of my friends did and told me what happened.  They asked for my Mother, she did have student loans but died last month.  They would only identify themselves by their initials and wouldn't say what the call was about, just that it was a business matter.  After hearing she had died they asked for the day she died, the hospital she died in, where they could find an obituary and then asked if we could send them a death certificate.

To top it all off right before she got off the phone she remembered to off-handedly say "sorry for your loss"

Google told me the rest, I won't ignore their calls but I won't be pushed around either.

A guy called and asked me when I was born.  He did not idtify himself, so I hung up.

DCS is very deceiving when they call debtors. They don't identify themself and who they represent. Under the Fair and Debt Acts they must disclose who they are. I have received many calls from them acting if we were close friends. They are calling me about a medical bills which had been chargeoff from the hospital due to financial hardship. No collector has a right to contact adebtor once it has been written off whether it is a bank or hospital. DCS, their morons.

I was called at 5:46 PM today (8/18/08)by DCS, Inc. asking if I knew a certain person that I have NEVER heard of, and they asked was I sure I didn't know them as they lived in the next town.  This person was quite overbearing with the fact that I must know them since they have the last name as me.  I ended up hanging up on them.

This number has called 100's of times asking for a Philip Chance. We have a brand new home and brand new number. We contacted our local sherriffs department but there is nothing they can do because it is a company out of state. These people are harrassing us DAILY. If anyone knows how to get them to stop I'd really appreciate any info.
