DIDNT PICK UP
CALLED BACK SAID SOMEONE NAMED LUIS CALLED ME AND I HAD TO HOLD I HANGED UP
CALLS ARE CONTINUING
WITH tEXT MESSAGES SAYING "PLEASE CALL"

RECEIVED CALL FROM 541-956-8822.  IT'S A COLLECTION AGENCY.  I KNEW THEY WERE A COLLECTION BECAUSE THEY ASKED FOR RUBY LAFAU.  I DO NOT KNOW A RUBY LAFAU AND I'VE HAD MY NUMBER FOR 6 YEARS.  DCS HAS CALLED ME MORE THAN 20 TIMES.  COMPLAINTS TO QWEST HAVE RESOLVED NOTHING.  I JUST LAUNCHED COMPLAINTS WITH ATTORNEY GENERALS OF WA AND OR AND THE FTC.  THIS IS SO IRRITATING.  IF IT WAS MY DEBT THAT WOULD BE SOMETHING

I got a call from a woman this morning who works for DCS. She said she was Kim calling long distance from Texas. She called me by my last name and said she was trying to get in touch with so-and-so that lives on the same street as me. She said she had been trying to contact them but can't get in touch. She wanted to know if I could help her because she had time sensitive info for them. Being around a while....I thought fast and said.....
"oh I'm so sorry. Their house burned down not long ago. You should contact the police dept. I am sure they can help you." I could tell she understood my deception but she played along and gave me right back..."that's too bad."
I got off the phone, did a search of the number and found this site.
I decided to call her back since the number showed on my phone (as Grants Pass, Oregon--not Texas). I get free long distance so what the heck. Well, when I asked for her by the name she gave (she answered by the way)...I said I was very concerned for her and had important info to give her. I said I've been trying to contact her without luck and wanted her help. The lady got ticked fast. Several phone calls later back to them again and again, they no longer would answer. I guess they don't like it when we call them so much. Maybe breaks up their day and makes it hard to work. Hmmm. Not even my debt but I'd be pretty annoyed if it were and they were calling my neighbors to shame me or get info. Dirty tactics make me want to help the little guy. Call it Christmas spirit.
Maybe everyone should call with important info. Call a lot so their phone lines are full of people urgently wanting to HELP. (wink)

Just got my first call today. Asked for my husband said soneone gave his name as a reference. I googled the number and found this wonderful website. THANKS !  Think my husband will be busy all the time and I AM on the "DO NOT CALL LIST".

The gentleman called and requested to speak with someone he thought was employed at our company.  When we stated that we had no employee by that name he called back and asked for payroll, he called again and asked for HR.  He then begin to badger the HR director and became very offensive.

Harassing calls began in November on 2007 to my home and cell number to pay a debt that has been discharged in a bankruptcy in 2004.

Was contacted by a woman from this number...and she kept asking me if I knew of a guy named Robert with the middle inital of "B"...when I said no, she kept asking me, until finally I yelled at her and hung up the phone!

Hey I just got one. To bad for that lady Nancy. Didnt realize i've worked for a collection agency for 3 years myself then to up that I worked for a guy who did credit repair. So now I just f**k with them and try to make them cry. Im pretty good at it to.

Called by DCS attempting to find my uncle to "update their files" with him.  They say he lives with my dad in AZ (I live in IL and haven't talked to either of them in 10yrs). Was polite to me, but wouldn't give any further info as to reason for call.  Said he got my number from dad's step mom (haven't talked to her in 15yrs).

No calls but they send me letters and I have no accounts with Circuit City I wish there was a lawer that could go after them IM sure all of us would put in a few bucks to sue thier pants off

They called here today looking for someone with a similar name to mine. Also refused to identify themselves. They are a collection agency that willfully violates collection regulations. F**k them back: the company president is the aptly named Hal Leach, who can be reached at 925 960 4800, x4728. The division is based in Livermore, CA, so you can try to look up his home number and pay him back the favor he's doing you. DCS is a subsidiary of Performant Financial Corp. Lisa Im is the CEO.

Phone rang, I answered it: "Hello."  Woman's voice asked "Michael?"  ... told her she had the wrong number, she then tried to engage me in conversation but I hung up on her.

This company is hired mainly by Student Loan companies to collect on unpaid student loans. They are ruthless and will call family members, neighbors, work and cell phones if they can. They are a "poster child" for what a crappy collection company should be.

My home phone rang and I didn't answer it. I let all callers I don't know go to voicemail. My cell phone rang immediately after that and I didn't answer it either. I did a google search of the number and saw it was a collection agency. I called back to see whay they were calling me, and the girl said sorry, must have been a wrong number. (Both my phones in succession? sounds like an auto dialer to me!)

woman called and said that she was calling because I was listed as a reference.  She would not tell me the name of the company, but wanted me to give her information on my niece.  I told her that since she could not give me any information, I couldn't give her any information and hung up.
