Got a call from this number asking me to turn on computer due to they receiving an error message.  The lady was obviously not fluent in English in aNY way and was talking to someone guiding them to what to say. Scammer you suck!

Received a call from 546-611-2221 wanting to talk about my computer. I had recently used a company called my pc backup, then deleted it from my computer after thinking about it. That was yesterday and this call came in today. The male voice had an India (Indian) accent. I just said "No" and hung up.

Yes...he called today wanted access to my computer...Indian accent .    Will they ever be stopped?

Why does it never stop? I just don't answer and they hangup. then I check the number as I have done here

When one of these scammers called me I told him I use a "tablet now" - he hung up on me.
Another thing you can do is tell them you have (I do) three computers and you need the IP (or MAC) address to assist them.

got a call also.  Caller ID showed V02212403300001 under the 546 611-2221.
Unable to block these calls as 546 is NOT a valid area code.
Why can't the FTC stop this continual, illegal harassment of the many telemarketers and scams that are out there.

Got a call today from the above #, 546-611-2221.  When I tried to call it, it said it's not a long distance call.  Google says it's a Michigan number.  I played guitar for the guy who had very broken English, some kind of Asian accent.  He had said he got an error message from Windows and wanted me to go to my computer.  I started singing him a song about liars...kept calling him a liar.  He started singing back to me, asking me to turn on my computer and said I have a good voice.  I told him he was a little out of tune, but close to the key of A blues, which is what I was playing in.  

I told him he's a liar, to do some soul searching, and maybe get another job.
