They call I don't have a clue who this person is.

They told me they are from Discount Auto Services. The claim they are not selling anything only offering a quote. I've asked several times to be taken off their call list, when I tell them I'm on the do not call registry and I've reported them and will again. They hang up on me. Last time I told them this I hadn't heard from them for at least six months. Now the calls are starting again. If they claim they haven't talked to you before tell them they're right, it was someone else with the 'company' that called.

No idea yet.  I'll try to narrow them down.

MIssed the call, but according to the notes posted here, I didn't miss anything.

I misses call couple times. When I return call it no working number.

I BLOCKED this number YESTERDAY and they STILL got through again today!!  WTF?  I'm sick of this!
The government can monitor OUR phone calls, but they can't stop scammers like this!

People call daily multiple times refuse to answer when asked who it is and then hang up.

I got a total of 20 phone calls today alone. I am asking who is calling and they hang up on me. The last person did tell me they r from a home improvement loan program.

This number has called me at least twenty times in the past three weeks. I think the call is from some call center overseas because the person on the phone could not speak English very well. The man who called said he was selling some type of home improvement services but I think it is simply a scam. He would not give me a company name, just said that they did home repairs and improvements.

New my name and that i had cable and wifi from btes.
I said hello they ask for me by name and then they said that they are form my electric/cable company and that they would.
Then i said thank you no thank you i'm busy and don't call back and hung up on them......

They are Computer hackers. if they call you is because they might have got your Number thur your PC....

One thing I do know.  Mortgage down to 3 years left AND CAR payments have 1 year left, then BOTH ours. Amazing HOW they find that out to bother you with calls. Suspect Bank(House), and Other Bank(Car) is giving out DATE, and amount that's left, on BOTH Accounts. They call 4 times a Day while plugging in DIFFERENT call back numbers. Geeee, tricky(gimme a break). For the last month, my Wife and I are SAVING the CAR and MORTGAGE House flyers of JUNK MAIL we receive to "possibly" cross-reference matching phone numbers(if any on flyer(s)), they use to call us on. Law suits will happen, trust me.

This was "Joshua" (heavy Middle-Eastern accent...) from "Home Improvements" offering a 20% discount from contractors. I expressed interest in getting some windows put in. Now, since I can't get to "Joshua", I'll wait for the contractors to call, and file a BBB complaint against each for bad sales practices. Since they are using "Joshua" and his ilk to drive sales leads to them, they are complicit in violating the National Do-Not-Call Registry (NDNCR). My BBB requested resolution will be that they, and any entities that they work with, adhere to all of the strictures of the NDNCR.
The "Gummint" is too busy fighting itself to address any actual problems, so If you want it fixed right, DIY...

I found out this was "Home Improvement Leads Group, Inc" (Homeimprovementleads.com). Here's the text of my BBB complaint filed against them:
Problem description:
On 9-9-15 at about 11:40 AM, I received a call from "Joshua" at Home Improvement Leads (546-957-4582) offering 20% discount on home improvements. Since I am not in need of a home improvement contractor and did did not request any information on such, this call was in violation of the National Do-Not-Call Registry (NDNCR - my phone number has been registered for many years).
Desired Resolution: Other (requires explanation)
Desired Outcome
Assurance by Home Improvement Leads, inc., that they will generate sales leads for their clients in FULL COMPLIANCE with all of the strictures of the NDNCR.

Give it a try, kids - at this point it is probably the only thing that will help shut down these telemarketer scum...
