Call...no message. Do not know anyone from this area code

I am registered on the Do not call list-just adding information to the posted message

Call from this numberSaid they are from techical dept and calling about  the computer. I said what computer and they hung up.

I keep getting calls from this number and there is no one there when I answer the phone.  It is beginning to feel like harassment.

I have been  getting unwanted calls from  548-321-4572 twice yesterday and also before this.  I am on a do not call list and feel this is harassment and telephone company should be reported on this.

Received a call from this number, caller ID "NAME NOT FOUND".  Let my answering machine pick up the line, but no message was left.  Whitepages.com indicates that 548 is not a valid area code.

Received multiple calls on 6/12/15 and 6/13/15. Either no one on the line, or an adult male voice with a thick accent, saying something indistinguishable. I'm on the do not call list.

Call from this number @ 12:05 PM. No one there. Party hung up after a few seconds. Wish they'd answer, like to play games with them, such as- "This is [make up name] cyber security company. May I have your access number?" Usually gets you DISCONNECTED pretty quickly.

He said they are calling from go(something).com, a website designer company.

Received a phone call from 548-321-4572 last evening on my home phone.  The caller had an Indian accent and informed me that he was from Windows Operating System and that I was having problems with my computer.  I asked him how he got my phone number and he told me I used it when I registered my computer.  I asked him what company he was with and he said "Windows Operating System" again.  I have not registered my computer, nor ever used my home phone number for anything other than my security system.  He did know my name and that really concerns me.  I'm also on the "do not call" list.

Got call from 548-321-4572, i did not pick up the phone, it left no message. I wish the government has to do something with these scammers.

Have been receiving calls from 548-321-4572 for the last 3 days at least 3 times a day.  I too am on the Do Not Call list but that doesn't seem to be working either because I get these bogus calls all the time and let my machine get them......it is definitely harassment and extremely tired of it.  Maybe if the government people would get them as often as the rest of us they'd finally do something about it !!!

Received a call from 548-321-4572, no message - but receiving increased "calling about your computer" scammers from a list of different numbers.

Call 548-321-4572. We are on do not call list, but I guess they don' t bother with it.

They are most likely calling from India or Pakistan and so are not bound by U.S. laws.

caller says "Hello" then hangs up.

Received a call from 548-321-4572.  I said hello once, and hung up.
I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST - Is this going to help us sometime?
These calls are very troublesome for us.

area code 548 is southwestern Ontario. Received call at 7:30 AM EST- a male voice with a heavy Indian accent. He asked me who I was, I asked him why was he calling my number if he needed my name. He said that he was calling because of my computer. I told him I do not have a computer, and then he said then throw it away (???)- then hang up.- this is a scam, to get your info.

My sister actually talked to someone who wanted her to visit a website.  I think it may be an attempt to load a Trojan Horse virus like a Remote Access Trojan (RAT).  Verizon says this is not a real number, so most likely an IP phone number and they are calling from India.
