they called asking for  my dad saying he is his nephew, I think its [***] 
was from exico and the caller id said new jersey

Recieved 2 calls while I was in Mexico on my boost phone.  Didn't answer either call.

I live in Mexico and I recieve calls from this number very often. I called and they said I was calling to the Mexicali Hotel. The caller ID is from Mexico City.

i got called yesterday and today they called twice, and it's exactly the same thing, they hung up, i was about to call when they told me "no wait they call you again"
so i've got really thrilled and decided to make a little internet research, this is the first link it appears on google so i discovered the same situation with all you people, shame on this people who just wants to stalk and get money from it.

WTF.  I'm never answering an unknown number again.  Especially one from Jersey that looks so shady!

I got a reply for a freelance writing service I posted on craigslist from this number. They say that they are in Seattle, caller id says New Jersey, but country code is in Africa. SCAM!!!!!!!!!

My boyfriend is currently in Mexico City. He has called me from 2 different cell phones since he has been there and every time it is the same number 551-959- 0000. weird but true

Yeah, this happens to me too when my hubby is in Mexico City.  He calls on his Verizon cell phone & the caller ID shows up as New Jersey.  Anyone know why???

I did the same..I'm at work and I get this call from this strange ,weird number and I didnt pick it up...If its important they should leave a voicemail....if not then this is bull****t!!!

I keep getting calls from this number 18:13; 18:28; 19:12 in the same day. I did a reverse look up on my blackberry and it comes back with an error... I never received that message before. I decided to google and it seems like no one has a clear answer on who/what owns the number. If it is from Mexico, I don't know anyone from there and why would it mask the number to be from New Jersey? Someone should call Verizon and ask why if the whole Mexico thing is true.

This is a number that shows up when someone is roaming in Mexico.....

Its a call from someone who has traveled to Mexico from the US. Stop being paranoid!

It is a call from Mexico - my husband is in Mexico and called me and that is the number that came up!
