555-123-4567

Five calls within minutes of each other at 4:30 am.  First two calls were "unknown" numbers on caller ID, the third showed as 555-123-4567.  Did not answer at first.  When I did, the idiotic woman on the phone asked for "Rachel."  Wonder if this is just some fake number used to anonymize caller ID or some weird scam (not particularly effective, if the latter).

555-123-4567 - One call at 8:06pm (Central). No voice. Lasted four seconds and then disconnected.

Received a call at approximately 10:00 pm Hawaii time.  Caller sounded like he was from India.  It was hard to hear.  The caller was asking for somebody but I couldn't make out the name.

I got a call at 12:54pm and then another one at 12:56. Missed the first one. And the second one i answered and no one said anything and then they hung up. So tried to call it back but it said the number had been disconnected.

Received a call today, Jan. 27th, 2008, from 555-123-4567.  I answered and no one would talk.

Recieved a call on Jan. 29, 2008 at 4:00 p.m pacific time.  Same number.  I didn't answer.  What is it?

My daughter got the same number on her phone at 6:20 Pm PST. It rang through and she did not answer, no message. Just looking on the internet to see who this might be from. No answer so far.

called at 3:47 pm, no message then called again 4:27 & 4:28, suspicous number never answered and not VM left

Picked up, no answer for a few moments then it went to busy signal.  This is absolutely crazy, it is a made up number!  Someone please figure out who this is so I can take them out!

I received 10 calls from this number within 20 minutes on my cell phone, I have a friend who is also getting calls from this number, weird. I was hoping to figure out who it is. They never leave a message and when I call back the call does not go through, and when I answer no one is there. It is creeping me out cause they call late at night.

Actually i did recieve that kind of call from a friend of mind, He was calling from East Africa and he told that he was calling me from his computer , he is using a free software to make long distance calls , i didnt ask him what was the software name but yea all this people they calling you from internation and they calling from there pc , so if you guys find out the software let me know thanks

I got a call today at 1:21 EST from an unknown number and 1 minute later got a call from 555-123-4567.  I didnt answer either call and no voice mails were left.

When my boyfriend calls me...he calls on private for certain reasons... and the number ****555-123-4567***** always shows up so I thought it had something to do w the phone company (AT&T) but I don't know...weird

i got the call from this number at 322 am central time, they left an eerie message, sounded like someone was crying, choking and/or being choked, lasted about 10 seconds, i jumped outta bed and answered, nothing. i then checked on my daughter, called as many family members as i could, everyone seems to be okay, 44 minutes later, they called again, i was on the phone with my brother in iraq, i clicked over, same type of noise from the caller and then nothing. im freaked the hell out, very uneasy feeling! what the hell is going on? anyone believe in calls from beyond, from loved ones passed away? if i didnt before, i do now. any advice or opinions, i definitely welcome your emails!

Phone rang with this # when I picked up it was a computerized voice that said mets suck go yankees. Then it said to find out more about this call go to www.thatcall.com . I went but the site does not exist. Very strange . I think it's just a new way to get through to people who block private calls.

I think this might just be bad caller ID data coming from the telco. I received a call today that showed up as 555-123-4567. The caller left a message--I was expecting her call, and she was calling from a legitimate company in the 212 area code. So I think it's just a glitch that causes that to show up
