My daughter have gotten 2 calls from this number today & yesterday. But we did not respond nor answer to the calls.

Got two calls. Did not answer and no voicemail was left.

Got a call from (559) 234-5678. No message. Odd.

I answered...she said it's Directbuy. They opened a store in Fresno and i was "selected" for something....call got cut off.

Got a call from this number last night at about 9:10 PM. I find it odd that someone could get the number, 234-5678 (seven consecutive numbers). I know it's not impossible but since I know no one with this number and there was no caller i.d., and it was so late in the evening, I let it slide. I also put it on my blocked calls function on the cell phone.

I got a call at 8:56 PM.  The girl identified herself as being Direct Buy.  She said my number was selected to win a tablet.  I told her I was not interested in a tablet, so she said "How about a hundred dollars?"  I said I wasn't interested in any prizes, then I was immediately cut off.

Got a call at 8:55pm. Did not answer it. Obviously, it was a spam call.

Just received a call from someone with a Filipino accent claiming that my number was selected as a sem-finalist for a $25,000 home makeover. Then said I have my choice of various vacations Bahamas, Hawaii...etc I hung up on them because its clearly a scam.

Called me then my wife immediately after. Tells me they are going down the list calling everybody for hopes of a scam! Why, because her no is 1 digit higher than mine...

Called three times 559 234-5678; did not leave a message.

Telemarketer. Keeps calling. I blocked it.

After I received a call with no message, I blocked the number.

It's not a scam. Direct buy is a legitimate company all they're calling you for is to see if you're in interested in attending a presentation and at the end they give you a "prize" it's a vacation like a weekend in Vegas or something else all you gotta do is pay like a $100 tax. I know because I went to one earlier this year for Direct Buy and I have a Las Vegas vacation if I choose to go and I've done this with other time share companies as well, been to Vegas twice thanks to them. So if they call you again and have time to spare listen to what they say and you'll see I'm right and then if it's up to you what you do.

Haven't you people ever heard of timeshare presentations? That's basically what it is stop being scared it's a scam.

Barely spoke English. Said Direct Buy (after several attempts to understand her). I don't think call was from U.S. Definitely from offshore. I told her not to call me ever again. Time to get a "National Do Not Call Registry" for cell phones. I'm beginning to be harassed. The call type was SALES.
