Girl asks for you and hangs up...it's a telemarketer company...do not answer

answered call and female mumbled something.  I asked what and she stayed on the phone, silent until I quickly hung up.  Suspicious, prank call or telemarketer?

Received same call 559-473-1898. No answer.....calls starting up from scammers again. Calls had slowed down now they are starting again.

Received call when I answered the caller hangs up.

Caller asked for the resident by name. When they were told the person wasn't in the office and that it was a place of business, the caller abruptly hung up.

A woman from this number has left 2 messages on my phone, pretending not to know she was on an answering machine..."hello?...hello?" then hangs up. The first time she asked for me by name. I won't answer when she calls.

Asked for me by my first name on answering machine. Did not pick it up.

Keep calling. I don't answer. No idea who it may be.

Have received calls on home phone....Answering machine picks up and they hang up. Now calling on cell phone

I just got a call from this number. Didn't answer. When it was time to leave a VM, the person just stayed quiet. I don't answer any number I don't know. They can kiss it where the sun don't shine.

Adding to the number above. These numbers have called me as well and do the same thing. I believe it's the same people because they do the same, call and hang up on you or leave a VM with nothing.

At 7:02:51 person called me twice. 1st: you could tell someone was still on the phone after saying hello twice I hung up because I wasn't going play games. So I called back and their phone rang a few times,
they answered and didn't say anything and hung up real quick. So I called back again a few more times with a blocked number, they answered real quick and hung up, then again they wouldn't answer they let my call go to VM. Later this same night at 7pm I got a call back from this number and a lady by the name Audrey left a VM to call her back at-  559-415-1412
I didn't call back. I did block every number. Im well aware that it's the holidays and people are out scamming or they can be calling and then you get a random charge on your phone bill. I won't answer unknown calls. Only reason why I did the first time she called was because I thought it was someone calling me back for a job.

Thanks for the comments.  I didn't answer the call but it is probably from the same call center in Fresno county.  They use different phone numbers but all from the 559 area code.  They are looking for new solar panel customers.  Other companies you do business with sell your name and phone number for money to these telemarketers.    It's a shame but legal.

This number is received on my cell phone.  In one day, I got three calls.  I did call this number from my land phone; they have a
blocked number!  Hardly hear the cell, so I don't get to answer these calls.
