This is a scam.  Caller claims to be IRS representative.  I sent e-mail to IRS phishing and to the U. S. Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration and both responded that it is a scam.

Recieved a call saying IRS and saying that we can settle out of court for $800.00 I told them we are not oweing anything so let's go to court. He hung up on me. This is a SCAM.

This is to inform you, that you are going to be legally prosecuted in the Court House within a couple of days. Your SSN is put on hold by the US Federal Government, so before the case if filed we would like to notify you about this matter.
It seems apparent that you have chosen to ignore all our efforts to contact you in order to resolve your debt with the Bureau of Defaulters Agency. At this point you have made your intentions clear and have left us no choice but to protect our interest in this matter. Now this means a few things for you, if you are under any state probation or payroll we need you to inform your manager/Concerned HR department about what you have done in the past and what would be the consequences once the case has been downloaded and executed in your name.
Now, FTC is pressing charges against you regarding 3 serious allegation:
1. Violation of federal banking regulation act 1983 (C)

This is an oldie but goodie SCAM.  Read the email carefully & note the UNprofessional language.  Also note the generalizations - what court house??  Bureau of Defaulters Agency???

I received the same e-mail. If I don't pay 2,000, I will have to pay 13,000.

I recieved the exact email just now?! I am contacting my attorney tomorrow on this?! I've never recieved any court order and that is the first step any law firm has to do simply for the fact you are not guilty until proven inacent and have to have a fair and equal trial if any allegations are reported against you. I did google the firm which is in Iowa and seems very ligitmate. Curious to see what this is all about?!

I got the EXACT same email, even the same amount you put on was the same amount I got. I emailed them back asking for papers and proof of what I owed money to and they sent back the papers are in the mail; I never received any papers in the mail.

It's a scam originating in India or Pakistan.  They spoof existing law firms, thinking most people won't bother to check.  Ignore the calls and block them.  DO NOT AGREE TO SEND THEM ANY MONEY!!

Do not return the calls.  Block their calls.  Ignore their phony e-mails.

You won't receive any papers.  This is a total scam.  IRS does not outsource its work to either India or Pakistan.  These are Indian or Pakistani hard core scammer/extortionists.

559-554-3618 - The Cooper Law Firm -  said they are with cash net usa and if I did not pay almost $2,000.00 they will sue me and freeze any finances with my social security numer???  Cash Net USA said they are most certainly a FRAUDULENT DEBT COLLECTOR!!!! SHAME ON THEM!!! People have enough worries and financial stresses without these crooked heartless money hungry creeps adding fear and stress!!!!!

Recieved an email today saying I needed to pay $1836 if not I would be taken to court and pay close to $13000

I just received the same email today. The exact same saying I owe $1836 and if I don't respond I will have to pay $13,000. The name on the from line says Mark and the email address is thecooperslawfirm2010@gmail.com, but the signature says Nash Brown.

I got the same exact email but it was different by 6 cents. We must have used the same loan company!! Big scam, do not worry about it, laugh it off and move on!

I got this email.. I don't owe money from this company but they sent this email. It so obvious that is a scammer coz the person who sent this email has a gmail account.

This email is containing information about three serious allegations against your name .

The affidavit states that you went online utilizing your personal information which was track down by anti-fraud department, in order to solicit funds from a website which is owned & operated by CASH NET USA who owns & operates more than 350 websites, web portals(Ace Cash, Speedy cash, Cash & Go.) & sub lenders working for them.

When your creditor attempted to extract the funds from your account, all six eft’s were returned constituting worthless electronic check. This means you have absconded your payments.

As of today rather than chasing you for money Cash NET USA has simply decided to write this money as loss & declared to be stolen by you & wants to press legal charges on you & on your Social security number.

Your Social security number is under state investigation & the charges will be notified to three credit bureaus that means you will not get qualified for getting no loans in the future.

Your creditor will be contacting your current employer & the state credit bureau to garnish your paychecks until the total amount gets paid back to your creditor in full with the interest amount & the late payment charges.

Your creditor has got all the solid evidences against you for a non payment of a loan which will be helpful for us to prove in the court house that the money is not paid by you.

Your Credit score will hit by negative 85 points & your driver’s license will get blocked.

Finally you do have right to hire an attorney, if you don’t have one or you can not afford to have one that shall be appointed to you by the court house, but make sure you have someone to who can bail you out once you lose this case in the county court.
