Call obviously from out of the usa by a person who can hardly speak english.  They use internet calling to make it appear they are in California on caller ID.   They have been harassing a family member of mine and now have focused on me.  They misrepresent themselves as some law enforcement authority and claim you have outstanding debts.  They always are on the verge of issuing a warrant for your arrest unless to pay them money.   Sure Habib....oh sorry...officer Hank, let me write you a check.  Go crawl under a sacred cow and blow yourself.

They stated they were from the US Treasury Dept, Mike Torres. I called them back and he said he wasn't available. I told him I wanted to talk to him and nobody else. He waited a minute and came back on the line claiming to be Mike Torres trying to disguise his voice. I laughed and said what is your address and he hung up on me!SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know who would fall for such foolishness.

Called my number asking for one of my relatives. Thick accent claiming to be someone from the legal council of the Treasury. I call shenanigans.

they are calling from 55-554-3709 which is an internet number your caller ID will show California, but if this was the real IRS it would show fresno California... they are stating I owe taxes from 2007 and I have a warrant out for my arrest.. They ask if I want to take care of it now or be subject to getting arrested.. I ask the guy for his name and he said Officer Smith.. I laughed and said your name is Mr.Smith?? you don't sound like a Smith he then hung up... IRS would rather garnish your wages then take you to prison people.. also when he was talking to me I was getting a 911 call this is also not our Police department they dont care that you owen the irs money..

Called claiming to be Marco Ruiz from the IRS and that there was a lawsuit against my name.  He mispronounced Ruiz; said if I didn't have a lawyer, one would be given to me and I should call 559-554-3709 ext. 231; with his i.d. #25241.

This dot dot, keeps calling my number claiming he's from the treasury dept and have aI received a form CC10 something or other and he needs my information and contact a lawyer, I won't say exactly what I told him, but in so many lovely words go to hell, DON'T FALL FOR THIS FORIEGN [***] BS

Received call from 559-554-3709
Said it was the US Treasury and I had  warrant for my arrest because of tax error on my tax return from 2007-2008.  Said they sent me noticed and I wasn't available to receive them. Said I owed $3898 and if I hung up the phone the warrant would be issued.

I got a call from 559 554-3709  I could barely hear the call, he wasn't American.  They said I need to call right away, that he is from the Legal Affairs and someone was opening a "Importment Act" on me and we needed to discuss this right away.  I called but a machine picked up.  I hung up and did not leave a message as I had just found this sight and was reading.  They called back within 2 minutes even though my number is blocked.  

I received the same message from Mr. William White, I called back and all I got was a answering machine with a very bad connection I could hardly understand what they were saying. I left a msg for them saying this is a joke and if you call again I will turn you into the proper authorities. I agree total scam.

This number doesn't appear to be spoofed. They left a msg and we called them back. Having said that they will hit you with a spoofed 911 call while speaking with them. Complete and total scum of the earth. No doubt they will be be paying for this soon enough if you believe in karma at all.

The person who called had the same exact Indian accent the people who pretend they are calling to fix your Windows issues and want you to log into your computer.  I guess they have to come up with new scams.

I received a call from this number from a Allen Clark stating that he was from the Legal Affairs and that an enforcement action has been taken in my name and to call him back.  I tried calling the number back and got a message that Magic Jack had not yet assigned this number to anyone.  Hoping that this number has been shut down.  Thanks everyone for the post, it really helped me determine that this was a scam!
