This number has called repeatedly. Due to poor recent experiences with charities that I thought were reputable or trust worthy, I refused to answer this number 559-797-1342 Rather than deal with debating and haggling for answers out of the telemarketer who called (As I have with previous "charities") on the "charities" regard, I searched online and apparently this organization has very poor reviews from this same website. But for a different number: 559-272-6499
The name that popped up was the following: CAVAF (California Veterans Assistance Foundation)
This was the same organization calling me but under this # as well: 559-797-1432.
Thay have also called me with this #: 707-595-0779 All under the title CAVAF

They have called repeatedly and I brushed it aside, but being weary of telemarketer tactics I at first brushed it off again when they called in the morning. However a few hours later I received a call from a 626 area code number of a telemarketing company based in Alhambra. Since it was an 626 area code I ansered it, and low and behold it was an individual calling on the same charities behalf. After a brief discussion with the telemarketer of my dissatisfaciton with such recent tactics, the individual said he already got paid to call me so it doesn't matter wheter I donate or not.  

This individual was callign from a telemarketing company with the number 626-789-7678 which is yet another number listed on this site as a scam.    

Remember to check with the BBB before donating. And remember that just because the charity may have "Firefighter/s" or "Police" or "Veteran/s" or "Military" in the title does NOT mean that the money you donate will actually go to that cause. These are titles used to tug at peoples hearts in a sort of guilt trip for money. BE AWARE.
