This is a scam. Dont reply back to this email or number.

Had an email wanting to purchase expensive equipment overnight, shipping to an overseas forwarder, with a billing address in the US.  This phone # was in the email.   A classic credit card ripoff scam.

We got the same email asking also for expensive equipment.  Scam!

A scam.  Wants a product overnighted to the US, will be via credit card.  Don't waste your energy.  Any reputable person will have a validated website and link.  Here is the original email:

I checked what ever I could with the data he provided:
His Address in Illinois =not confirmed
His phone number = Fresno - California
His ship to company = US - Florida Freight Forwarders & Cargo Company
All three CC's are stolen from three different people in Rhode Island

He even tried to call me this morning, maybe I didn't charge the cards quickly enough.

Just received this email from Barry Cole as well.

Went searching for information and found this page.  We get these emails all the time from individuals looking for expensive medical products and of course they want them ASAP.

Unfortunately, a few years ago, one got by us and we lost both money and product.  Due to this issue, we took off international ordering from our website.

They are always a scam.

I generally tell them our policies and tell them to fax me a copy of the front and back of the credit card for validation and then I never hear from them again.

We've contacted the local police and the FBI about this in the past and they never did anything about it.

Don't take money away from your business, just because of guys like him. The problem here in the States are, we are too impressed with "customers" like him and process the CC and shipment immediately. I have a very small business and can use customers with this kind of order, but I also know that customers like him, can bring me down or even bankrupt me.

So don't process every thing immediately just because the e-mail says ASAP. Take the time and call MC,Visa or what ever card they give you and ask them with the number if its stolen or not.
I called MC, they gave me the bank name and phone number, then I called the bank and realized bank and cardholder name don't match (first sign), the bank than told me that the cards are from three different persons (second sign) and that they are stolen (third sign).
Even if the cards are "officially" not stolen, how many signs do we need to realize that this is a scam.

The problem is our automated cc-system, which only checks the number to be a valid card number and if there is enough money to cover the charge. No automatic order-name and cardholder-name or order address and card holder address verification.

Got the same message this morning after our website had only been running for about two days. I was surprised that someone had managed to locate us.

Received and "urgent" request for overnight shipment of (not a quote for) multiple quantities of the same product from a company known as Ron Medical in California ...with a ship to of Brooklyn, NY. Will pay by credit card.....  I've been in this business for 15 years and never heard of this guy... in this business.  Antennas went up.....Hmmm.... (PS: I am not the Ron B of Ron Medical... rather a recipient of this request through many forwards.)

Ran the name and number on 800 notes and .... you see this.  I have seen this before where product requested is "urgently needed" and shipped to a "forwarding warehouse" for consolidation then sold in or out of US for far less than market value on stolen credit cards. Some of my corporate dealers have also gotten caught and a couple got out before it was too late.

My advice would be to let your credit dept. do their jobs... BEFORE you RUSH ship any product  to a NEW customer on a credit card ... Typically these "scams" are for products $4,000 or more... usually getting just under the max of the credit limit on the stolen card.

Don't let them be smarter than you !!!!

This guy is definitely a fraud. He attempted to purchase equipment from me and wanted to pay with a credit card. I was suspicious of his overnight shipping request and contacted Mastercard with the credit card #. It was stolen. He presented his name as Barry Cole with National Med Lab Inc. and wanted the equipment shipped to Brooklyn NY which was an Air Cargo Shipper on McDonald Ave.

We received an e-mail order for one of our device, same story as above, rush overnight, and they wanted us to charge to 4 different credit cards.
