Calls daily and will use any name they can steal in order to try and validate their call in an attempt to foist their products off on you, and then try to bill you for items you did not order.

Caller was extremely unprofessional, calling the receptionist a liar when the requested party could not be contacted and paged.  Our facility has no paging system.  The name given was Jacob Schaefer.

This guy called and asked for our facility maintenance guy "What was his name again?" he asked. I transferred the call; 2 min later he called back; "can you page him?" He asked for his cell # (which I can not give out) and then he said he knew our facility guy... sure you do buddy!

Midway came up on the caller I.D. --- he was rude -- I was waiting for him to hang up since I wouldn't give the # out. RUDE RUDE RUDE

Caller tried the "warehouse manager, what was his name again?" ploy to get information. I messed with him for a little while then hung up. (I wonder if this is the same outfit that went by "Delta Shipping" and "Delta Products" who like to send overpriced boxes of packing tape that no one ordered, then harass companies into paying for it. Didn't talk with them long enough to determine.)

Caller rude, offensive, trying to ridicule switchboard into complying with their wishes. Doesn't work here.

A man named Pat Evans who said he was from Evan's Electric called and said he was returning a call form our Maintenance Supervisor, but couldn't remember his name. Being wise to these guys, I said I would take his number and find out which one our maintenance guys called him and have him call back. He gave me multiple excuses as to why that wouldn't work. But I wouldn't cave. I checked with my guys  and none of them had ever heard of him. Midway came up on my caller ID also.

Jerks like this guy call here everyday at least once.  "The maintenance guy out there...what's his name again?"  If I had a quarter for every time I heard that.  Like a bad, cliched pick up line.  
He didn't leave a name, but the caller id said Midway, whatever that is.
For other office people here's a tip for another common call.  Ever hear: "the number on the photocopier, what's that again?"  I'm polite and immediately say no thanks before hanging up.  However, I recommend slamming the receiver down as soon as they ask because that's exactly what they do when you start asking them questions.  Effn rude solicitors.

Someone has called form this number 2-3 x a day atleast 8 times, I asked each time to remove my name we are a residence, not a company and it is illegal to continue to call.  The guy actually said "i don't care, just buy the name lightbulbs and I won't call again" I then went off on him and hung up, he actually called back not even 10 seconds later.  How do I block them or report for continued solitation once asked not to be for a residence?

He called asking for a maintenance manager, lied about who he was to the receptionist- saying he was buying some electrical part for the manager for his home etc etc etc ... very unprofessional

Wow, who is this company, how do we report them? Just called me threatening to call our health department if I did not let them talk to our maintenance man. We dont have one? I looked up the phone number shows they are in Florida. Shows the phone company is XO Florida Inc. This company should be shut down.

I just filled a complaint with the FTC, you should all do the same. Companies like this need to be shut down and their employees fined & fired.

Said his name was Steve Bishop of National Electric.  Tried to get name and number of our "maintainance guy."  When I told him I could take down his information and have someone call him back he said he would be "in the warehouse all day."  When I told him I didnt believe him, he hung up.  Nice try.

Midway is the name I get on caller ID.  I've called it several times and you get a customer service number.  Might be worth calling this number repeatedly to pay back the harassment.  I ran across the same thing all of you did.  I am going to contact FTC and file a complaint.

Just got my 23rd call from these jack_____! This time I was told what I could to him as he hung up...ROTFLMTO!!! I know how to tick them off AND MAKE THEM HANG UP, QUICKLY!

Our business receives a call every other day from this number.  Caller ID displays Midway.  "The maintenance guy out there...what's his name? I forgot to write it down when he called me." Since previous attempts haven't worked to avoid giving out internal contact names, this time I replied immediately that I would be the person to talk to and the guy says "put a man on the line".  My reply was "excuse me?" and he said "You heard me.  I don't do business with females."  My answer was that we don't do business with his company then.  Each call ends with saying they are going to get me fired.  I will go back to putting them on eternal hold from now on. If you try to return the call, the voicemail says it is full and disconnects.

Just received a call from this number. When asked for "The name of the maintenance guy" I replied we don't have any one person per se that holds that title. I asked for the name of his company (Caller ID said "Customer Service") And he rattled something off so quickly I couldn't hear it. He then asked "Who orders your lightbulbs?" I said "That would be me." He then promptly hung up without another word. I have alerted our office ladies to refuse any packages we may receive that are not directly ordered by myself.

We've had this happen before with a Copier Toner Supply Company. We received a package of toner (costing about 4x what it normally would) demanding payment ASAP. We of course returned the toner with a "nice" note of our own.

Claimed he was from "Johnson Distributing" trying to shove light bulbs down my throat.
He hung up when I said "No" but I fully expect a box of lamps to show up anyway.
I know how these jokers operate.

Johnson Electric trying to get a hold of our shop guy (we don't have one).  Called back with another guy stating he was previous callers supervisor and needed to know what was going on.  I could get in trouble (really? I am part owner of company, that will be difficult).  He then called me 'babycakes', seriously.

I say, mess with them back.  Time is money.  They are wasting my time, I will waste theirs.
