- Fed UpGuy called and asked for our machine shop manager. We don't pass along sales calls to the shop floor. I could hear many other telemarketers in the back round also asking for people in charge of various depatments. This is just a telemarketer call

(we don't have one) I Asked who would he like to talk to he said he couldn't make out the name on the voice mail probably Jim or John. He asked if we had any managers, I said no and he got angry and said "what is your company just 3 people behind a desk" then hung up.

- DAMidwest Electric/Tom Hayes called our number asking for the name of the Utility Supervisor, said he was working on the bldg. I asked him what his number was, that I would have them call him back and he said "just give me their number". I told him I already had his number (thank you caller ID) what was his name. He gave me one but who knows if it's real. After checking, no one was expecting their call. Called the number back and it goes to a voicemail saying "Customer Service".

- JCThis guy called saying he was with CLE and wanted to speak to Facilities guy about our fluorescent lights. I told him he was not one of our vendors and he said "how would you know, you're just a secretary!" VERY RUDE! If I had not had people in front of me I would have told him to f-off! I also called back the number and it was a voicemail that said Customer Service. Unbelievable.
- Caller: claimed it was CLE
- KristenCalled and asked who was in charge of maintenance in our building. When I told him that I was, he told me to hold on a minute, I heard muffled voices, then they hung up. Sounds more like a prank call than a scam (they didn't try to sell me anything).

I told him I wasn't allowed to give out that information and he said someone from our business had called and left a message and he didn't get their name. - Lila 333Calls us repeatedly at work. This time he said his name was Mike Levi, "the electrician", with "Johnson's". Scammer has been trying to sell us lightbulbs for YEARS. I put him on hold and when I picked the line up I heard him coaching the other tellemarketers about how to speak. Bunch of losers in Florida trying to make money for nothing. Don't agree to let them send you ANYTHING, even if they claim it is a "gift".

- MTbusinessI've gotten a call from this guy twice. [***] says he's with Commercial Electric. The first time (about 3weeks ago) I thought he was a sub contractor calling for our guys. He gave me the "I can't remember their name" so I said their names (SO STUPID OF ME) and asked which one and he said either one. I said I'd have them call him back, I wasn't about to transfer him because towards the end it seemed fishy. Wouldn't give me his number, just wanted me to give him there number. I love caller ID!
Well, he called today and asked for our guys by name. I recognized the number and went round and round with him. I told him I recognized the number and that he was a scammer. He said "this is a cell phone number"... ya, whatever man. He hung up. DON'T give him any names!!!- Caller: Commercial Electric
- DaveMale caller was very rude and cussed at our female in our office. Asked for shop manager to sell light bulbs. He was told very politely to take us off his list. He responded by saying, "I will call every hour [***]" and hung up.

- ArrgovatedMan (with a strong NY accent) called for our building manager (by name - it's on our website). I transferred him, and he immediately called back saying it went straight to VM (he was either on the phone or away from his desk for an extended period of time). I said - he must not be available and please leave a VM and he asked for his cell phone. I said we do not give out that info and he asked me (very sternly) to page him. I said I cannot do that. He started sighing and saying something like "well, I gotta go over these codes with him". So I said - let me get my manager, but he was with a customer at the time so I told the man that there was no one he could talk to at the moment. He said okay, thanks and that was it. He called last week too.
I did get the same phone calls from a woman (regarding an "outstanding invoice") a few months ago. She would call at least once a week and say the same thing (cell phone - then page). She started getting angry towards the end of our phone relationship (I finally had my manager talk to her and she stopped calling).
After talking to some co-workers, I found out that these people are SCAMMERS from FL and will try to "sell" you something/anything, but send it as a "gift", then bill you! So, don't accept anything! Hang up!- Caller: Southern Electric

- GWhat a jerk! I've worked here 18 years and have been getting this "Can I speak to your shop manager?" call since day one. You'd think they'd come up with a different line by now.
- Real fed upMan called my cell phone which is listed for our company, asked for the GM; I asked "What is this call regarding" and what company did he work for: He lied and said he's in the city where my Store is in, and worked for Standard Electric. Wanted the name of the General Manager, was rude. I kept asking him the same question "What is this call regarding" When I said I am the person he was looking for he hung up.
- Caller: Said Standard Electric
