Pleasant sounding women called to let me knowof up coming electric rate hikes. sounded odd so i asked if she works for FP^L and she hung up. Some kind of a scam

Called said electric was going up in rates not legit scam hope they call again so I can chew her a new Ass!!

Clearly a scam that has been going on in S Fl for some time. They are not affiliated with FPL. They want to get into your home for unknown reasons. As a retired Law Enforcement officer I suspect if you let them in they will either try to sell you a needless piece of expensive equiptment or may be casing your home for future burglary.

Caller hung-up when asked if they work for FPL.  

Yeap, a pleasant lady new my last name & after I said yes she said something about my electric bill. I was like my electric bill?? Where r u calling from? She hung up immediately. I tried to call back but it said the # I dialed is currently un uvailable.

friendly sounding lady on other end.  Her first words were "am I speaking with the home owner?  I answered that she should identify herself and that I do not answer questions to strangers.  She hung up.

CALLED WANTING TO SAVE ME MONEY ON MY ELECTIC BILL, SOUNDING LIKE FPL, THEY KNEW MY ADDRESS AND MY TELEPHONE IS PRIVATE! ASKED IF I WAS RETIRED AND WHEN IS A GOOD TIME TO COME BY. I CALLED FPL AND THEY ARE NOT SENDING ANYONE TO MY HOUSE. WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TOO?

I got the same call and she took an attitude when I told her I don't know where she is calling from and am not doing any energy review. Call came in as unknown #. Even if it was FPL, I would not do any energy review. She was clearly not from FPL because she was phishing for information and said she was calling because my energy bill was over $100. That tipped me off right there. It was not over $100.

Do not call ever again.

Blocked number previously. Now comes through as 115612357129. Did not answer going to block again.

I think I'm going to report this call/number 561-235-7129 to the police as these people want to come to my house and show me how to save 30% on electric bills.  Due to recent break ins, this sounds like a scam.  

I then asked the man more about his company name, etc.  His answer was "Pace Florida" and the domain is  PAGEFLORIDA.ORG.

So, I went to the website... looks ok at first glance, but then looked at footer.. BOGUS.. then clicked the links on the page.. BOGUS.

I then performed a WHOIS search on the domain name.  Again I found a repossessed domain (MORE BOGUS).. see below:

I answer no calls if the caller cannot be identified BEFORE I pick up.
561-235-7129 has called twice before.

These people are unbelievable I am receiving calls every other day. They knew my name they knew my address and the woman who made the call implied she was with FPL. I have blocked their phone call but somehow they managed to get around it in a day or two. As a single parent of small children this bothers me, especially since they have my address. I contacted FPL, and they assured me this was not a call from FPL. my next phone call will be to the police department

Caller called while I was on a call. When I called the # 561-235-7129 back the recording said I had reached an unauthorized number

Just received a call from this number.  I answered it by mistake.  Lady said there was an upcoming energy
bill increase.  Wanted to save me money.  I asked if she was from FP&L, and she said No she was
Florida Energy.  I told her not to bother and hung up.  

As with the others... calling about electric bill... warning of rate hikes... want to save us money.  On previous occasions when questioned, they admitted that they do not work for FP&L.  This time, when I asked, the lady rudely answered, "yes... is there anything else you want to know?"  She hung up when I explained to her that there was a company that had been harassing me in the last week or so...   SCAM... or worse... Don't ever give them information or allow them into your home.

Every day these idiots call. They want to send someone to my home, asked how many people live here…. very aggressive on the appointment making aspect. A) I don't trust anyone whose # does not show up on caller ID with a COMPANY NAME, B) I asked 20x "OK so you want to save me money, AGAIN tell me what you are ultimately selling" and from a script they just keep telling you they want to save you money. PLEASE you're either trying to case out my home and rob me OR you're trying to sell me something and unless you divulge what that is and have mailing materials when I ask to instead mail me a brochure I can only assume you're not operating within the law. With all these identical complaints when will the authorities stop these people????

Young man stating same money savings opportunity as others have mentioned. He recited the address & asked if my bills were still over $120 per month. I actually don't live at the address he had anymore, so when I told him that he simply said sorry and hung up.
