I told them to take me off their list. Will see...

I told them to take me off their list as well.  They say it takes 30 days to have the number removed, but I have been telling them to stop calling me since the beginning of the summer.  The person says they are from United Electric Evaluation.  These people contact me daily and argue with me when I tell them I am not interested in having my home evaluated by them to reduce my energy costs.  Each time they call, a different number shows up on my caller ID.  I am registered on the do not call list and have reported them.
I contacted FP & L and they have no idea who these people are and are not aware of the up to $3000.00 rebate that these people are offering for allowing them to do the 20 minute evaluation on your home.  They also insist that both you and your spouse sit through  the presentation although they also insist that they are not selling you anything.    If you google the name of the company, nothing comes up, so I have no idea who they are or if they are even a legitimate company.  I am not letting them in my home.

It's a robo-caller with the option to speak to a rep. Same thing. I entered the number to speak to a representative and asked "nicely" for them to remove me as I am in the process of moving. The woman argued with  me "But why wouldn't you want to save money!?"

I repeated that I was asking nicely for them to remove me and she got even more worked up, so of course I hung up. But they continue to call at least once a day.

This company "United Electric Evaluation" continually calls my home and refuses to remove my name/number off their list.  They have refused to provide who owns the company and have refused to provide a supervisor.  When I ask questions, they hang up.   They are parasites...

Write an e-mail to Florida Don't Call Dept in Tallahassee, FL at:  francial@doacs.state.fl.us.  They need many e-mails before they react.
