Received a call on my cell phone reportedly from GE that I was chosen to receive $1200 in merchandise. Seems like a phishing scam to me.

I received a few calls from this number.... name was blocked on my caller I D, they did NOT leave a message, just hung up ! Which is so RUDE !

They methodically dialed every number in my residence. Did not give them the pleasure of a word: said "Place this number on your Do Not Call list. Problem is all they have ot do is create a new shell corporation and the FCC let's them call again as a "new business". Keep posting!

I also received a call from this number.  Sounds fishy to me.  Need more info.

I received a call from this number and they did not leave a message, so I called back. Thought it was funny when I got a message that the voicemail box is full. SCAM!

I received a call today from this number. I purposely did not answer and they did not leave a voicemail.

I received a call a wk ago and they said it was for a survey on Smoke Detectors, I have done some opinions surveys in the past and I did not think much of it.  It was about 3 questions and that was it.  4 days later I received another call and they told me I had been selected to win a $1200 home security system from GE due to my recent survey.  After telling them No thank you I HAVE an alarm, at this point I was afraid it was a set up for burglary.  They told me I could transfer my free alarm to someone else since I did not need it.  Lol, ummmmm NO!  My aunt also got the exact same calls.

I received two (2) calls in a row from this 561-300-8724 number. My caller ID showed it as a Private Number and I did not answer. Call went to vmail and they hung up...
About a week or so ago I was getting calls from this number and I finally answered. It was a survey about Smoke Detectors. A gentleman asked me a few questions and I answered them then I hung up.

Amazed that people don't realize there is caller Id out there....you want to be private and anonymous?  No one will answer.  Hello

Received a call from this number a while ago.  My caller ID ".  I let machine pick it up.  I could hear three or four different people (telemarketers????) talking in the background, but the caller did not leave an actual message before they disconnected.

We have received two calls  both around noon.  The caller asks questions about smoke detectors and alarms and then requests a name to confirm the phone call. The voice/connection is very garbled and it is hard to understand the questions.  We hang up.  We would like to have the company stop calling. The caller ID shows Boca Raton, Florida.

Got a hang up call from them today and they call every few months.  I've just blocked them.

They called and left a message consisting of several seconds of nothing, then a snippet of a few mumbled words that I couldn't understand.

I rec. the same GE call and was told, i won the same alarm system 1200 buck. I ask her if she wore thongs, or nothing at all. She got piss, then i added,  you have nice firm titties, she responded with [***] you, My comment was, you wish, and she hung up.  I also try to call back and it said mail box one is filled i could leave a message on mail box 2. guess what that was filled also. guess a lot of people are calling back.   Thanks see ay

They called a few minutes ago, scam for sure.

$1,200.00 free security system from GE, I explained I worked with law enforcement and I really didn't need one. The Philipinio woman on the other end hung up.

I received a call, did not answer.  I heard on the answer machine a man yelling "hello, hello, hello, hello, hello."  The caller ID said it was from Boca Raton, Florida.

Received a call from this # tonight.  They sai it was a survey on smoke detectors, like in the above post by Julie.  They had my name.  Just didn't feel right.

I do not want anymore calls from this number. Thank you.

I got the winner of a $1200 security system SOP for my home, they asked if i was a homeowner. and i said no. and they hung up. Woman was clearly of Indian decent. This number is clearly a scam.

Just got a call from this number. I have no answering machine for them to fill up with messages. I do have caller ID, and if it is a number I don't recognize, I simply don't answer and certainly don't call back, but I do write it down and look on here to see what others say about such calls.
