- Stock Scam?| 19 repliesAn individual called from Boca Raton, FL at 1-561-368-5450. Wanting to sell a get rich quick scam involving stocks. "Send me a big check and I can double your money in six months!", yeah right. You might just need that amount of time to leave the country as well after you scam a few others out of their hard earned money. Asked for personal and financial information, I then stated I was not interested and wanted to be removed from their call list. So far it has worked, but time will tell if they honor their commitment to cease calling. It's a real shame that people have stooped to swindling others for a living.
- Caller: Stock Scam
- Call type: Unwanted
- PizzaLoverSame crap as the previous post. The guy who called me got pissed and hung up, because I kept asking him to repeat what he was saying.
- Caller: Windsor

- Bob replies to Stock Scam?| 8 repliesI just got the same call. Having my own company, I get a lot of boilerroom operators calls like this one, but even this one went over the top. This jerk called saying he was my "cousin" steve. Fortunately, my sister IS my EA, and already knew I had no such cousin. The jerk then changed his name to "John", who happens to be my cousin that died in February 2008.
When he was transferred to me, he had already hung up. A *69 later I had the number that called. I called it and got Windsor Wealth Management.

These operations are normally hawking "pump and dump" schemes in which stock prices are inflated via the buzz these operators create getting SUCKERS to buy the stocks they're trying to dump. Once the buzz stops, the stocks craps to below what they got it for, much less what the sucker bought in at.
What I love about them is how they seek to create a fiduciary relationship, supposedly on trust, by starting off with blatant lies.
Most of the times, the folks doing the calling have no training, credentials or registrations on file with NASD or the SEC allowing them to do so - itself a violation of State and Federal Securities laws.
I'll be calling friends of mine at the SEC and the Florida Banking Commissioner's offices shortly, as soon as a PI friend runs down all the names and home addresses of those involved in this group. So far, all I have is "Gina" purportedly the office manager to whom I talked. - unknown replies to Stock Scam?| 5 repliesyou have no idea what they do do you. i am a customer of windsor wealth and they are in commodities not stocks. They have made me pretty nice returns. so if you dont know what you are saying dont post on blogs! last time i checked that is slander!!

- THAT GUY replies to Bob| 3 repliesI was that guy and that is not how it went down. I thought your said your BIG BAD WOLF friend with the SEC was going to blow my house down. It is not my fault that you are a miserable and bitter person. All the Best, that guy
- ShameOnYou replies to THAT GUYI wonder what kind of family you people grow up in and what kind of values you learn from your parents that you can justify lying and stealing as a career path.
- Thank You replies to BobBob - Thnak you for the public service you provided by warning people about these scoundrels.
- Ann replies to unknownGee I wonder who you work for.
- bheat replies to Get RealIt does no good to just hang up on them. They just KEEP CALLING. I told them we were not interested, so now they just ask for my husband and won't speak to me. I get 2 to 3 calls per day.

I was contacted by Windsor. They tried to sell me options on gasoline futures.
For a company to operate in commodities for over a year without having any complaints filed against them, they either aren't doing any business, or they are keeping their clients happy. It's that simple.
Perhaps it is the former, as their sales force could certainly use some fine tuning. The guy who called me didn't know nearly as much about the markets as I do. However, anyone who calls you soliciting business in the commodities market must be registered with the NFA and be series three licensed. If they were crooks, they wouldn't be able to operate.
My experience is that they are no worse than any other over-the-phone brokers, pitch wise. Based on the calls I took, I cannot attest to their honesty or candor being anything but professional, albeit a little inexperienced and probably a little too persistent. I actually felt bad for wasting their time.- Call type: Telemarketer
- mike replies to unknownim pretty sure Mr. UNKNOWN works for them dont let them sucker you
- Joe replies to futurestrader| 1 replyI was contacted by Windsor Wealth Management. The telemarketer Mike Ryan was trying to sell me gasoline options. He was pitching me on supply and demand BS that was outdated news and clearly biased. He said "Gas always goes up in the summer.", "The only was you lose all of your money is if the option expires worthless."
I asked a friend of mine that is a real broker and he told me that what he said is not true and that it is against CFTC regulations to pitch that seasonal trends depict the market.
Clearly this company is a get rich quick scam and the people that work there are pathetic liars. - Brian LI've been contacted by Windsor Wealth Management over and over and over again. They're extremely aggressive, don't seem to care if you're not interested and are, all in all, scum. After I specifically told them to stop calling me, they called back the very next day. When I asked for the person's name and the company's information, he simply hung up on me. SCUM, SCUM, SCUM of the earth. Don't be fooled. SCUM, SCUM, SCUM of the earth.

- Wilson CombatI have gotten calls from this number 2 to five times a day for no less than four months. My number he is calling is a cell I let my employees use when in the feild. It has become so obnoxious my guys don't want to carry the phone. It seems to always be the same prick calling.
Always asking for Greg. When my workers or myself explain he has the wrong number he says we are lying and states he talks to Greg all the time at this number, then starts spouting off that Im retired from a particular bank. Then proceeds to give me an address he thinks is mine.
Im just about sick of it.
He seems to think I am retired. I would be curious to know how many of you folks are being called by this number are elderly.
