They left a message to call this number. They have a package and are from United Delivery Services supposedly.

They aren't. They are from www.unitedfieldchase.com They are a collection agency who will even send their "reps" to your home to collect on a debt.

This is not right!  I also received a phone call representing United Delivery Services, they referenced a tracking #.  IT IS NOT UNITED DELIVERY SERVICES, IT IS CITI FINANCIAL AUTO!! There has to be something wrong with this, they are unrepresenting themselves.  AND I received a visit from some lady at my house LAST NIGHT at 8:30pm.  I paid them and have scedueled future payments.  THEY ARE STILL HARASSING ME.  Does anyone know if there is anything that can be done?

They tried this with me. I called all the companies that were listed on the internet as United Delivery. There is one in Chicago as well as one in Colorado. Call each United delivery service and tell them what this company is doing and that they are using their company name and misrepresenting themselves. These legit delivery companies will eventually get tired of having there company name defamed and hopefully do something about it. I think that it should be against the law.

I received a call stating it was United and that there was a package for me.  The message said it was for me or my husband, but they called at my work number so I know that it couldn't be a real package delivery.  I decided to look the number up and I see that others have received these and stated it was Citi Financial Auto.  We do have an account with them.

This isn't right for them to misrepresent themselves.

United Field Chase hit us tonight with a letter from CitiFinancial.  The man threatened me and was very abusive.  Husband came home and the man was IN OUR CAR, without permission, ripped the seat and continued to make threats.  Once my husband told him to leave, he first said no, then when he found out he was a cop, he left, running his mouth with threats the whole time.  We are filing federal complaints and may seek legal counsel.

United Field Chase / Scott Co. TN. Sent to field reps to my friends house. While one was knocking on the door, the other was taking tag #'s from other autos on his property. Not his tag # but mine I was just visiting him............ Called citi auto to explain he is having to file bankrupt to give them lawyer name and number...The rep didn't want to take it. It is against the law for them to keep calling and not identify themselves. This is common practice for citi auto.....I wonder if any of the collectors are having a hard time, keeping up their bills during what seems to be hard economics times..If you have a customer who has tried but really has fallen on hard times, should you try to help or hurt ??? maybe that's why they practice business the way they do.

I do this line of work part-time. The companies ask that pictures be taken of cars and/or the house to show proof of visit. When I do my visits I hand the person/s their demand letter and let them now that they should contact the debtor to make arrangements but I wouldn't accept payment at the door because I wish not to be held responsible for anyone's payment. The rep that came should have accepted the information to completed a detailed report that could have actually worked in your friends favor.

I work for several field service companies, they are NOT COLLECTION COMPANIES, including United Field. We simply deliver messages to call, in SEALED CONFIDENTIAL envelopes and take a photo. We are NEVER to be rude to anyone, certainly NONE of the crazy behavior listed above, such as getting in a person's vehicle. Please report any problems, because you can be sure the company does not want that person doing work for them. As someone who has also fallen behind on payments, I know that the best thing to do is CALL the company you owe. Most if not all, will work with you, just keep them informed.  My visit DOES NOT mean they are coming next week to repossess.

I also work for a field service company that many creditors use. I normally introduce myself and state that I work for such and such company and that I am there on behalf of "creditor name". I normally have a letter from the creditor that is requesting that their customer contact them. I also offer to call the creditor and get the issue resolved while I am there. I never collect penny from anyone. I can not say if the above stories are true, but I have never heard of these sort of things happenings. Most of us have a strong knowledge of the credit laws and would avoid breaking them. On the other hand, I have been cursed at, threatened, chased, bitten by dogs and scared to death. I agree, pay your bills or at least talk to your creditors and you will never see me...This is a scary job for us women! Now packing heat to work everyday!

The above company emailed me stating that they are looking for field reps in my area.

My husband received a call from someone from this phone number saying they were from United and they had something to deliver to him asking when we would be home.  After looking at the rest of these posts we do not have anything with a company called citi financial auto Therefore we are unsure who and why this call came.

I also got a call and a door knock from United Field. The guy at the door just said that he was there from my auto lender, which is Peak Acceptance. I've called them before I was late, but I guess this is just their standard practice? I guess they don't just represent Citi or Chase, but any creditor who's willing to pay for their services.
