Repo company. Came by our place looking for a previous tenant. Afterwards, the driver stuck around striking up a conversation with our neighbors' three year old. Scary.

They left a card with this number (561) 616-1022 on our door. Called the number but got nowhere with the woman on the line. "Uh, oh, we won't be bothering you again." They better not.

If you live around Boca, beware of these guys. It's one of those cases where collections crosses over into the real world: big guy in white truck with tinted widows talking to neighborhood kids.

7/7/14: I went home from work and this plain looking white card was stuck in my front door with a case number and says "urgent" when I called it said it was Tracey in the Investigations Dept. I left a message with my cell number, after reading all these posts I'm wondering if I will get a call back today. I should have researched it first as my vehicles are also paid for. Strange. I may call the non-emergency number for the Sheriff's office to ask if they have had any other reports on this. Occurred in the Lake Worth Area.

Same here.  Came around and left a card, I called, they were looking for the previous tenant.  They said they would not bother me again, if they do I will call the police, they obviously do not have the correct and updated information, maybe they are not legit.
