There is something odd.

"Financial Independence And Resource Education" (what the acronym [of the company] "F.I.R.E." stands for) has a call-center in Panama (Panama THE COUNTRY; where the Panama Canal is located at). The website of the "center" in Panama is http://www.fireintl.com . They pretty much do the same thing as the "main"-office in the States. And Gary Smith runs the whole show from here, while his SON (son from his first marriage; Kristen Nuss is his second wife. (Gary Smith is divorced from his first wife, and one of his sons from his FIRST marriage, is the one who runs the company [in the States]. Gary [and his wife] run the office in Panama.)

although I have checked BOTH websites out (http://www.fire-inc.net/contact.asp , and http://www.settleourdebt.com/contact.asp ) and they look the same. However, the two websites Gary mentioned to us, when he gave us the "training" (yes, HE HIMSELF was the one who gave us the training. They are a rip off and a scam.  

I never received my package with account number and when I tried to talk to someone, their phone numbers wouldn't go through.  Got the excuse their system crashed.  Excuase me, but it has been alomost 2 months and still no paper work and my cancellation letter I sent to their offices in Tequesta, FL per their contract is being returned to me....business closed.  

But mind you they were more than willing to take my premium out of the checking account I provided without delay.

I filed complaint with Better Business Bureau and with my bank and filed a fruad claim.

Do not mess with them.

These people are frauds, creeps and criminals and will get whats coming to them. Do not due business with them and if you have, I would immediatly file a report with the Attorney Generals offices of both Florida and New York. Also file complaints with the BBB in both states. If you signed with them when their office was in Tequesta FL there is no mention on the contract of that their home office is in New York. The husband (Gary) has also changed the company name from Inc. to Intl. I have had a private investigator look into them and there other various companies and they operate the same way with all of the customers they deal with.

How can we put this "SON OF THE BITHCH" to jail?

They are a scam.  I worked there at the what was the main office processing center in Tequesta, Fl for over 2 years.  What's worse is that the owners loved to brag about all of the "nice" things they have.  Such as going through 2 Escalades in those 2 years.  They are two of most greedy people I have ever come accross in my life.  I have no idea how they ever slept at night knowing how many of the clients lives they are knowingly ruining.  Alot of clients barely had enough money for groceries and medications and were still enrolled into this program just to get maybe a downpayment of two out of them before they tried to cancel.  As far as I'm concerned they are responsible to ruining many clients lives and wellbeing- they are heartless!  They deserve every bit of bad fortune that comes to them.

These people are scum - crooks - I don't know how they or the people that work for them can sleep at night.  They lie yoo and mislead people.  I was one of these people that were taken  - most stupid thing I've ever done in my life.  Thank God, Congress passed a law that they are unable to collect a fee until they complete the service.  Now they are all going out of business.  Lynn Cords was so sweet and seemed so concerned - she lied to me and is scum just like the rest of the crooks.

Your worst nightmare

How could anyone work for this Company - they talk the desperate people that are down in their luck and just make it worse after taking any money that you have left.  Lynn Cords was one of these employees - you are doing the right thing - I'll never forget her saying - sign up now and enjoy your week-end knowing that you are off to becoming Debt Free - WHAT A [***] LIAR

Kristin Nuss is not a liar, she is a serial over exaggerator and quite possibly the most lazy and useless person on the face of the earth. Her most recent venture First Financial of the Palm Beaches an administrative tax company lasted less than 2 months. To quote Dean Wormer from Animal House. " Fat, Drunk and Stupid is no way to go through life "

May all of her future endeavors also fail - may they all receive what they deserve - NOTHING - as I said before may they all ROT IN HELL

Nuss is an immature unfocused dreamer. The business she opened up quickly closed. I know this because I worked there until we were laid off. Little to no effort was put in to attempting to start and build a business. We were promised the world, to quote Nuss " I do things big ". That could not be further from the truth. We were provided with poor quality leads and quite simply the most uncooperative incompetent support staff I have ever seen in my 15 years of sales. The few deals that were milked out of what could only be described as pathetic lead sources were quickly destroyed by the so call back end.

If someone sets forth to deliberately go out of business they should call Nuss and ask for advice and coaching. To call my time with Nuss a waste of time, would be a disservice to a waste of time. If anyone out there is a serious sales professional and you come across Nuss and her next soon to be failed endeavor, walk out the door and do not look back.

WOW, i worked for Fire Intl in Panama, i hated it, was the worst job I ever had.  When I found out I was preying on victims for the gratification of Garry Smith I had to leave, I couldnt continue working there and have a clean conscious knowing what I was doing. .  Everything you said about Kristen goes triple for him.  He and his Panamanian girlfriend, wife whatever,someother  person (who is maybe 24 yrs old) run the company here.  They treat there employees like 4th world citizens (not 3rd-4th).   If your think its bad in the US, they are worse here.  I absolutely agree 150% with the comment of poor quality leads, incompetent, uncooperative support staff is an understatement.  They hire any Tom, Dick or Jose that comes off the street.  And slap a title on them where they have little or no experience.  Its disgusting. Beware Ive been told that Smith has starrted a new venture that is called USCS-United States Credit Services.  Fire Intl AKA Jet Services ,USCS all work under the same roof.  Same pathetic leads, in-fact the same leads from Jet Services.   If any consumers read this, remember they arent lawyers they cant protect you against any lawsuits.  Also, know that you are only being recycled in there phone system.  The only way to stop this is to report them to the FTC, BBB,  educate yourself on your rights as consumers.

They've hurt a lot of people including me - I don't know how any of them can live with themselves - the whole crew.  Anyone that works for Garry Smith is SCUM.  Lynn Cords was full of lies and was very misleading - I hope all of them FAIL in all of their future endeavors.  WHAT COMES AROUND GOES AROUND - if not in this lifetime they will have to answer someday in HELL/

Lynn Cords also promised me all my accounts would be settled and would be able to relax and enjoy my Life.............LIAR - they did nothing for me and I settled all myself - BS - My life was Hell - Yes, I loved my phone ringing from creditors on Thanksgiving eve and Christmas Eve and yes even New Years Day - I should have known better but I was desperate.  I hope Lynn Cords has the same thing happen to her someday and fails in all her endeavors - how can she sleep at night?  Hope Kristen, Garry and Lynn get whats coming to them -  - YES - MAY THEY ALL ROT IN HELL WHERE THEY DESERVE TO BE - they will be judged one day - SCUM SCUM SCUM

Where do they live now? I needed help and they stole over $3000 from me. I don't take this lightly. My purpose in life now is to find them.
