I got a call from this number 4 times.  I finally talked to them, they are claiming to be FIRST FINANCIAL.  The person said I owed Bank of America $380.00 on an account, they had the last 4 digits of an old account I had with them.  I had cancelled all two of my Bank of America cards some months before so was perplexed.  I called BA and asked if I owed them money and did I not cancel these cards.  They confirmed that I did not owe a balance.

I decided to try to get more information so when the First Federal woman Ms. Holmes called back I said that I never pay bills over the phone but if she gave me an address I would mail them a check.  After long silent waits on the phone she finally came back and gave the following address:

I thought this would end the calls, but got one from Ms. Holmes this morning demanding payment.  When I said I knew this was a fraudulent call and that she was committing a crime, she got argumentative!  I told her never to call me again and that I am calling the Attorney General and hung up.  I decided to do the reverse phone number search and am now here typing this message.  I'm going to post this on my Facebook as this is the second series of messages I've gotten for bogus debt collection.  The other was FedEx.

One has to love Bank of America for their sheer crustiness.  I paid off a substantial balance (just before the new laws went into effect) and BOA still wants a pound of flesh.  One more whack from this whack-o economy.

I too have been getting the treatment from this 561 number, "first financial".  They do not, however, leave messages.

These people have been calling me for two years looking for a woman I do not know and although
I have told them over and over and over again they continue to call so there numbers (and they have
many) are all identified on my phone they will never get an answer again from this number. It is a crime
but no one is enforcing the laws they are to busy getting re-elected..

As a small woman in business, I've been struggling for two full years. I'm currently on welfare, but the calls keep coming from this First Financial.  BOA threatened me (and I have the documents) where they did so on a Halmark Card. It was Christmas 2009.  They promised they would make certain I never found a job because they planned on ruining my credit. Now....does this make sense?  My business is suffering as there are no sales and established customers have been paying as late as 120 days on their accounts. My small home was foreclosed on,  I have been trying to find work (235 resumes have been filed, applications, and cover letters).  In 2008 I had a credit score of 810. Since the recession hit, it's dropped like a lead balloon.  If you think BOA cares about me, my business, or my well being....think again!  They are nothing more then a bunch of vultures and have a great deal of clout, power, and bad people behind their establishment!  They received one heck of a "bail out" at taxpayer expense. As a tax payer, I find this quite repulsive, and this is all I will say as what I'd like to say is not printable.  What goes through my mind is a saying my parents used to say...."Give them enough rope and they will hang themselves."  Not a bad idea and hope this happens, not just to them, but to a few other JA banks who have treated folks, who once had excellent credit, very badly...

First Financial has been calling my house for at least six months. Most of the time I don't bother to answer since I don't know who they are.  If you do answer, there is no one there or it hangs up on you.  But we've called back a few times.  They are asking for Josh who has the same last name as me.  I do not know a Josh by any name, much less with my last name.  My husband has spoken to them nicely and informed them that this is not "Josh"s number.  They keep calling.  He lost his temper, told them AGAIN, there is no Josh here.  Still, they keep calling and calling.  Called again tonite, missed the call, so he called them back and told them again, initially nicely that there is no Josh here.  They still ask for Josh. So my husband asks "well, who are YOU?  Since you've been calling my house for six months, I at least have the right to know who you are and what you are calling about".  Can you believe that they wouldn't tell him?  Said that its "confidential"!  So, if I WAS Josh and asked why they are calling, would they tell me?  Why do they not believe that there is no one here by that name? And what to do to get them to stop calling?  Apparently this has something to do with BOA, I've never had an account of any kind with BOA!  Geez.  Leave me alone
