Got call at 1-1pm, 3-10-08, from W. Palm Beach Florida. Answering it, it was telling me that my auto insurance is about to expire and that they could make me a better deal on car insurance. I had the options: to press a number to get a representative to discuss new auto insurance and  to press a number to go to the marketing department and have my phone number removed from their list.

My car insurance is not about to expire.  So that was a lie.
I am on the national DNC list.
I have reported it, filled out the (kitchen sink) form, to the FCC.

I got a call at 3:00 from this same number, telling me that I had a problem with my credit card and needed to contact them.  I've received this same call at least 4 times a week for the last 4 months.  I've pressed 2 to have them stop calling me on 5 different occasions.  Once I spoke with a live person and asked them to put me on their do not call list.  It hasn't helped.  Today when I got the call I asked the guy what their company was called he told me Vist and Mastercard Services.  When I asked what their address was he told me that it was 1-800 jack me off.  He continued to call me a "ho" and asked my how much credit card debt I had.  I asked his name and he told me that his last name was me off, first name jack.  I also reported the number.  I am also on the DNC list.  I'm so sick of this company!

Got a call at about 11:45 PDT 3/10/2008no message left.  No other call.  Am on do not call list but it looks -- fromother comments-- like this party wouldn't care.

I've been getting calls from 5617938708 often.
One time I pressed 2, to be removed from calling list, yet they still call.
One time I pressed 1, to talk to someone, after telling her I wanted the calls to stop, she didn't say anything, she just hung up on me.
This time, I pressed one to talk to someone, after waiting 7 minutes for someone, a guy came on, I asked him If I could have his number so I could call him back, and with out saying a word HE hung up on me.
I try to call the number, but just get a busy signal.

Prerecorded message about my credit cards having a problem (not true since I don't owe anything on any credit cards).  Options provided doesn't do any good either.  I called the number back and got a recording from the phone company stating that the number is no longer in service even though I just got the call.

Telemarketer trying to sign me up for credit card.  Previously hit 2 twice so would not call back.  Doesn't work.  Will report to FCC

Received call (this ocassion - there have been many more) and could hear people in the background but no one would answer. Have had previous calls from this number and all have been about better deals on my credit cards which I do not carry balances on. I am also on the DNC list.

Got this call today. Also no DNC list.

just its purpose is not easy to see through.

OK, here is what you do.
After dialing *67 (to protect yourself by making your phone number private), You call this company, make up an alias, and schedule an appointment for a job hiring with this information, and then do a no-show:

After calling the number I provided you, AT&T is one of their partners. We fired AT&T a little over a year ago.

Get a load of this guys!!! My # is very similar to this one and I've gotten about 20 calls from all over the country (maybe even from you) asking me questions. This is F3#$#$%* crazy!. I swear it wasn't us calling. I've called the phone co. & they didn't know anything. I'm on hold again to see what the hell is going on. I will post something once I find out. Sorry for the inconvienience but this must be some kind of scam.

well, I spoke to Vonage my phone company and they tracked this # to AT&T but said there is no name attatched to this #. I continue to to receive phone calls from all different states with the same stories as posted above from u guys. There is a scam behind this I'm sure and I have to deal with all the crap... It's very inconvenient and my kids are getting freaked out. If I don't answer and u get my voice mail, u can lv me a msg if u want, I'd like to get to the bottom of this more than anyone, trust me. My suggestion, if u see this # pop up on ur caller ID don't even waste ur time picking it up and call your phone co. BTW, does this DNC list actually work? I'm on the list too, I don't think it does! We need a better system.

I called AT&T to get 561-793-8708 removed from service and of course, they're office that does that is closed (1800 222-044) but maybe someone beat me to it because I tired to call 561=793-8708 and it's disconnected.

I too am on DNC.  If I'm not familiar with a number, I don't answer the phone.

Tell them there is a Mom out there that is sorry for their distress.

Don't forget to call your Congressmen about this. AT&T has been spying on US citizens without warrants. Time is of the essence here. They have yet to apologize for it. And now this.

I dialed *69 got the number (561-793-8708), realized I do not know anyone in Florida and did a google search which lead me here.

Good website..good idea...will check here more often.
